I've been using the beta of Nirn Auction House for a few weeks.

Need to run an external app to initiate the trading server connection, but then everything else is done within ESO.

I was stupidly happy when Kena was one of the the first offerings from The Golden... then they nerfed recovery. :p

Yes. Kena 2 piece is not ideal anymore. I could get away being a magic Khajiit wearing and procing Kena and be fine before. ZOS said they wanted to diversify builds but since they nerfed resources, it closed the gap as far as diversifying races with builds.

Yeah, actually, the current version of Kena is surprisingly usable on some builds. Overkill's cost increase is significant, but not crippling these days. It's also easier to deliberately activate now.

There are certain items in this game that can only be earned not bought.

This^ the topic has been discussed already. Even though I wld probably make a nice sum from master and trials weapons, they shld be earned.

I too agree that certain items should be earned in game not bought. You can already time-briefly exchange gear with your group mates. It certainly increases the chance of getting many pieces of the same set.
So no to being able to trade dungeon's or arena's rewards.
You want it so badly...work for it.

      I am against this.

One, everyone will start sporting monster sets. Which a few players will farm (and get rich off), and the rest will just buy, because that is megatons easier than actually running veteran dungeons and undaunted pledges X and Y times, respectively, to get the precise set you want (in the armour type you want). Never mind actually getting a character to the point where they can comfortably run vet dungeons.

One, part two - as above, but for trial sets. Doubly so, in fact. CP50s wearing full trial sets is what I see as the endgame here...

Two, "regular" dungeon running will be blown up as there will be no reason to run a dungeon multiple times (the first time for the skill point) since you can just complete the set by buying from dedicated farmers. In turn, the farmers will probably be running the same three dungeons X thousand times to flood the market with "best" dungeon set gear, which leads us to...

Three, the in-game economy will be, likely, skewed (to put it mildly) in the sense of an overflood of especially desired-but-not-difficult-to-farm dungeon, monster and trial sets. Not to mention a marked advantage for any player that can scrounge up the gold to buy these things vs. a casual that's just learning the game and has 1k in their bank account. This is not a perfect economy to begin with. Let's wreck it further.

Three, part two - there will be no sense of player progression, for those with money, past level 50 because...you just buy the gear you want. As opposed to either having to grind it out, over potentially dozens of hours (depending on your luck with monster helm and Undaunted chest drops), or having to grind out enough gold/skill to craft/buy crafted sets (and then still need another set plus jewelry to complete the package).

To be fair, I am sketching out something of a worst case scenario. Conceivably, BoP rules could be relaxed and yet the impact partly (or wholly) mitigated by changing drop rates (e.g. removing guaranteed monster helm drops, limiting drops per account per week, et cetera). But...why? What conceivable need, whether game-wise or business-wise, other than some player, somewhere, saying "I wanna", will be filled by this?

I am for a better trading system, whether it be an auction house (like in LOTRO/TOR), a physical hub-based system but with a miles better UI (EVE), or whatever else. And for incorporating MM/TTC functionality into the actual game - in fact, it is one of the colossal failings of ZOS to date that so much UI/functionality has to be implemented by users via add-ons. But that should happen irrespective of any changes to BoP rules for gear.

Oh man, do you have any idea the money I could make with Vomitdeath, or Alkosh? Yeah... Look at the Silken Ring, Mazzatun, Bloodforge, and Dreadhorn motifs, and think how much more you'd see people paying for items with actual gameplay value.

Tons of stuff from dungeons are just goung to waste while others may very well be interessted in those things.

ZOS seem opposed to the multiplayer part of MMORPG, sadly.

"You can buy everything" is anti-MP. Instead of having to group up with people and work together to get your BoP dungeon loot, you can just grind gold all by your lonesome and then buy the gear you want.

Having to run dungeons to get BoP gear supports "multiplayer".

And I say this as a solo player who doesn't run dungeons and will never get his hands on that BoP loot. Throwing everything open to selling is a bad idea. (worse than this awful "guild vendor" system, even)

Meh. The only reason things should be sellable is for end game raiders to pay for their pots. Otherwise the system is fine as it is. With transmutation there's no reason not to buy a decisive weapon and retrait it as you wish, which is the main thing that people were selling at high prices when they were tradeable
Undaunted plunder already covers that nicely, actually.

Undaunted Plunder does not even cover the cost of Potions use in Vet Trials.

Well, that’s if your raid team is bad.

lol well everyone can't get on a no-lifer elitist prick raiding team. So for some a run through a vet raid cost around 40k to 150k to clear.
