My "days off" is more or less aaaalways on these maintenance days. That pretty much sucks, because I don't have much time to play these days. So clearing out bank, taking care of a million RFTW mails, trading, crafting, farming materials and doing dungeons for monster sets etc., is not very easy for me now.

It's typically american way of thinking, to follow their time schedule for maintenance in Europe, it's such an arrogant thing to do. Fortunately enough, I will be "free" this whole weekend, so hopefully I can spend quite some time playing. I really have some catching up to do... :-(

Sorry, but I took offense to part of your statement. Here is some information for you to consider in this instance as to why this particular game caters a wee bit more to American work schedules than yours.

    American Game:

The Elder Scrolls Online is a massively multiplayer online role-playing video game developed by ZeniMax Online Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. It was originally released for Microsoft Windows and OS X in April 2014. It is a part of The Elder Scrolls series, of which it is the first multiplayer installment.

    American Game Franchise:

The Elder Scrolls is a series of action role-playing open world fantasy video games primarily developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. The series is known for its elaborate and richly detailed open worlds and its focus on free-form gameplay. Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim all won Game of the Year awards from multiple outlets. The series has sold more than 50 million copies worldwide.

    American Game Publisher:

Bethesda Softworks LLC is an American video game publisher based in Rockville, Maryland. The company was founded by Christopher Weaver in 1986 as a division of Media Technology Limited, and in 1999 became a subsidiary of ZeniMax Media. In its first fifteen years, it was a video game developer and self-published its titles. In 2001, Bethesda spun off its own in-house development team into Bethesda Game Studios, and Bethesda Softworks became a publisher only. It currently also publishes games by ZeniMax Online Studios, id Software, Arkane Studios, MachineGames, Tango Gameworks and BattleCry Studios.

    American Game Design Studio:

Bethesda Game Studios is an American video game developer, acting as in-house development team for parent company Bethesda Softworks, established in 2001. Previously synonymous with its parent publisher, the studio's name and logo were established with the release of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind in 2002. The studio is led by executive producer Todd Howard. A second studio, Bethesda Game Studios Montreal, was opened in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

    American Online Development Studio:

ZeniMax Online Studios LLC is a subsidiary of ZeniMax Media, specializing in the development of massively multiplayer online games. The company developed The Elder Scrolls Online and its downloadable content. ZeniMax Online Studios had around 250 employees in 2012. In addition to the main Hunt Valley, Maryland based office, ZeniMax Online also maintains a customer support center in Galway, Ireland as well as an additional office in Austin, Texas.

    American Parent Company:

ZeniMax Media Inc. is an American media company. The company is known for owning Arkane Studios, BattleCry Studios, id Software, MachineGames, Tango Gameworks, Bethesda Softworks and ZeniMax Online Studios. ZeniMax is headquartered in Rockville, Maryland, with offices in Asia / Asia Pacific, Australia and Europe.

A ton of people around the world are involved in this game, keeping it running and playing it... but the majority of the big stuff is in the USA so they work on that schedule. Makes sense.

But the EU has more players =P. By default we have more gamers period because we have double the population of the US. =)

Or the download for the patch (if there is a patch & it's not just maint. I can never tell by the announcement text "patch maintenance...so...all inclusive) started. That'd be good.

I PREFER it today over Monday because I am busy all Wednesdays, and FREE Mondays xD, so YAY but I know not everyone does.
