I just thought I'd add two great suggestions to improve the game. The are defined as great suggestions because I said they were great.
1) Housing as an alchemy hireling
For some reason you can get a hireling for everything except alchemy. This is bizarre. What would really be cool is to be able to plant alchemy reagents in your houses with the ability to harvest them once a day. While this would tank the flower selling business probably, it would be really cool for someone who is endgame to not need anything to play except to harvest their flowers for combat.
2) Changing of emperorship in PvP
Your faction works hard to crown a new Emperor. Eventually, they are dethroned, showing the world that they really aren't the true Emperor placed by the divines. Wouldn't it be great if the guy who lost his emperorship had his standing on the emperorship board reset upon losing it (to be clear they keep all their AP and standing on the game's leaderboards)?
Benefits:
- This would allow several different players to try their hand as Emperor, rather than the family of crackheads all playing 1 account
- This would prevent players hogging emperorship, which leads to a plethora of problems (though that's a different discussion)
- This would give players in the top 10 a reason to keep playing, rather than being stuck locked behind the family of crackheads all playing 1 account
Obviously they would have to change only online players as eligible for emperorship, as it would really suck to get and lose your shot at Emperor while you were asleep.
I can't see how anybody could not love either of these suggestions (unless you're the family of crackheads all playing 1 account in PvP).
