Hey!

I was wondering about few things on the outfit system and thought to ask if some of you know.

One slot is free, can make outfits with gold but are the style materials needed? For example do i need obsidian for Dunmer style and so forth.

Secondly the more important question. When i buy an extra outfit slot foir a character, can the outfit to that slot be done on a outfit station and can i pay it with gold and what are style stones in crown store?? If free slot uses style material like in crafting, does the second slot require style stones as an extra crown cost in top of the slot cost?

so far, no style mats needed (which makes no sense at all). ZOS could, of course, choose to change this before launch.

I believe style stones are simply an alternative to paying gold to commit outfit changes.

This is my assumption as well but at times i have nightmares if system where the other slots need these to modify. I also have fears that the extra slots cost more to change due crown style stones.

The outfit tokens are in the crown store, and will "pay" for an entire outfit change (or whatever you choose to change). i imagine if you are first creating a style, especially if it's expensive (more rare the motif is, the more it costs in gold) plus dyes - it may be beneficial to use an outfit token, as it is a flat cost to change the outfit.

If you are editing an already made outfit, maybe just changing a dye or two, it probably makes more sense to pay gold.

    I see. Reasonable i guess.

I take it the dye system is still free though, even for outfit? Makes no sense to me to make it cost now wwhen it has been previously free feature.

Especially when certain types of armor do not dye well at all. Is there any way for us to preview these dye changes in actual in-game light before we confirm and pay gold for it? Armor dye using a color you already have unlocked needs to always be free.

I guess, the prewiev will be the same as it is now when using dye stations. As i understand it, the dye stations are going to be changed to outfit stations. This is assumption naturally.

I guess i get the whole outfits for quite a small proce. The most of my characters will be using level 1-15 styles of the basic racial motifs as they seem to be most reasonable to my eye and without too many "Neat things" :)

I wonder how the rarity is determined though.. For example is Xivkyn considered rare because it a crown motif or because its rare?. Is Skinchanger rare while all the guild stores are full of it? For example one does not considewr Daedric, Primal, Barbaric and Ancient elf rare because they are now all over the place and can be bought with few gold.

You can preview everything in the outfit station before committing to it. Dyes and motifs.

Dying your armor and your costumes is still free. Only dying outfits costs gold.

Well i dont think its very nice to make one pay for outfit dyeing. No matter what the colors should be always free to apply. Especially because its the same with colors as it is now. One needs to go out of the station to really seee how the colors work in different lightning so you basically have to pay for every prewiev you need to go and walk away from the station to see the real colors.

If dyeing outfits really costs, it is just silly.
