I got discouraged twice now but both times I found something else in the game to keep me distracted. The first time it was a guild internal fight that didn't ended ugly, the other time was when I farmed Spinners and Soulshine to get a Jesus Beam templar only for the PTS to read that Jesus Beam got turned into nothing more than an execute. I still have so much to do and so much to see.
And don't let yourself get discouraged by other players. When someone isn't as good as you, remind yourself that you've been there too and would have liked people to be nicer to you back then. And when someone is mean to you, the ignore function exists or in case you have 100 people blocked already, go offline for a few minutes and they will have stopped texting you. No idea what you can do about it on youtube though.

If one puts themselves out there...
One must accept that there will be those that try and blow out one's candle to make theirs stronger.
Unfortunately ignorance is with the majority.
Grow some balls, leave the haters to their soul torment and get on with life.
