I know dragon bone is not out yet but chapter should get a longer promote time shouldn't it? Afterall it should has way more story content and special content than a normal dlc

I thought they said April-ish for the next chapter, but I don't recall where i read/ heard that. Maybe they said Q2 and I interpreted it as April-ish.

And wasn’t Morrowind announced by this time last year? I would have thought a £35 new chapter due in April-June would have been promoted or at least teased by now, I’m sure Morrowind was.

They are still working on this chapter. The fact that they are releasing DLC means they probably don't have much past the major concept.

Given that it's a major content drop, even several months out I'd be shocked if it's not 90% done already (with, of course, the other 90% remaining).

Upgrade Content, same as Homestead (no new zones, no dungeons)
News about the next Chapter.

Q1 (february): Dragon Bones (Dungeon DLC)

Q3 (august): Chapter

Morrowind signaled a change in direction for them. There is no reason for them to announce in January this year. Sure, they might, but we presumably know that it is coming, and with no changes to schedule, so there is no pressure.

Not sure it’s going to be like Morrowind. Last time it was after a free DLC update. And they haven’t announced a change in how they charge us yet so we gotta wait.

While I don’t agree with how they do stuff, it seems they have to change things every year

nope, dragon bones will be a dungeon dlc (two new dungeons), not a chapter.

we will be getting a new chapter in Q2 2018. according to the hints in the end of the Clockwork City DLC, it will be Summerset Isles (so highelf stuff)

I meant the next chapter probably isn't developed very far, I wasn't very clear with that, sorry. Yes that seems to be how it works, lol. Why did every game company take Blizzard's communication model (soon tm)? It seems nearly impossible to get info from these people.

By this point, a Chapter being released in June is a long way towards being complete. They have probably been working on it for the last 6 months, and the remaining 6 months is not very long when you consider something the size of Vvardenfell (for example). Pretend that the release is in the first week of June, but that is the release date, not when it has to be "done". It has to be largely complete by the time it goes on PTS, which means by the end of April. Before it can go on PTS, QA has to bang it around, which means that primary development has to be done so that QA can do that. That could be the end of March for primary development.

OOoo imagine if this was like a 50 level dungeon tower for 2 or 4 players and each level is harder with bosses at every 5 levels!
