Storage wasn't added cause only 3% of the active player base has max upgraded their bags and bank!

Sorry, had to point that out in this undead moot garbage thread. However, this thread is a good example of how development changes over time, and why many companies don't talk about things until they're officially confirmed or announced.

The vocal minority has since moved on to complaining that collectible storage should be tradable, but that's easily ignored in the PTS forum.

Six alts, none of them used for storage, fully upgraded my bags and bank because I’m a bit ocd, can’t remember ever filling it up other than when my master Crafter was cranking out glyphs to help level a new charecters crafting. Ninety percent of sets and gear in this game, and every other game for that matter, are little more than vendor trash, scrap them or sell them on the cheap to low level players, you don’t need everything, just dump the junk on an npc merchant and move on.

It’s a strange reaction when a developer gives us a tasteful designed option for storage that’s a vailable in a variety of ways and for some reason the forum has this massive rage tantrum. Also, that video is going back ages, it’s not exactly up to date and so cannot be used to justify this amount of bad behaviour on the forums. I don’t need the space but I’m going to use one to keep a few mementoes the main base game quests give you like necklaces, or the prophets staff. Hopefully the appearance of these chests suggests other options like mannequins might be more forth coming.

I have 8/8 characters and 4 of them are level 3, 3 are between 15-40 and 1 is my main that I never maxed my bag on because I think 160 slots is more than enough, my bank has 240 which is again more than enough considering I only keep monster sets or bis sets with either divines or Infused on.
The reason they claim that it's no use since most people haven't maxed slots is so people feel inclined to upgrade, and the less time consuming option is to buy the cash store ones.

I’m confused as to what the issue is: we’re still getting storage, are we not? They do have access to metrics and figures that we don’t. Why must people continue to argue? It’s getting tiresome.

Most of my alts have 140 spaces the max you can buy whenever. The other 60 are mount bag space and for me that is a pia to log in every day and go do that. As I only play maybe 2 characters a day. Yes I know it is my fault that they aren't maxed but I don't want all my play time to be logging on and off going to the stables. Meh
