Level Advisor, hold off leveling 1 character?

As far as I can tell on the PTS, the Level Advisor only works for characters who haven't crossed that level threshold and won't apply to max level characters of which I have 11; only 3 slots left that are not max level. Unfortunately all my leftover characters are above level 10 so I won't get the Sorrel Horse mount, I'm not deleting because they have at least 60 in speed training and 10+ in carry space already. But I assume I should hold off on at least 1 character from leveling any higher until the patch releases if I want any of the other rewards?

As you know, you'll be able to get it for free after the patch goes live, because that's the horse that will be included for free when you level up.Before the patch goes live, buy the sorrel horse for 10k. After the patch goes live, you won't be able to buy the horse anymore.
They're going to add a 15th character slot (for purchase) with the patch, so you'll still have one more slot available to start a new character. So DON'T buy it before the patch goes live. It'll be wasting 10,000 gold, unless you just have zero desire to level up another character.

I was editing as you were writing this. They're going to open up a 15th character slot for purchase in the crown store, so everyone can start a new character from level 1 if they want to.The OP is not going to be leveling up another character. So if the OP wants it, the OP needs to buy it soon. If the OP snoozes, the OP will lose.

Hunterka71✭✭✭Personally, since my lowest is 16 lvl I did some reserach and I decided rewards up to 10 are not worth the crowns for new slot.
So, I'm going to buy the sorrel now, while still available, save RL money and not buy another character slot and put that character on "freeze" till the changes hit. Which is easy as she's a mule.
Then I'm going to levelv her till she catches next lvl lowest char, move to that one and so on (that option I'll test when it's EU PTS)

As to the rewards- that's exactly why I started the thread at PTS forums, so that people can make informed choices.
For me the storage coffer at 18 is hard to get, so I'm really happy my lowest is 16, but I'm sure there are lots of people sitting on lots of writs/ tel var who will decide it's not worth the bother to lvl a new one from scratch.
Maybe if my lowest was 20 I would decide to reroll.
Also people with limited play time may still think one or two crates is not worth it, we are getting some free now anyway.
So - everyone will decide for themselves what is worth and what is not, and how to plan gaming in ESO till the change.
As to the whole principle of leveling rewards- well I don't begrudge new players those, when they start they don't have much, many of them are hesitant to spend crowns, many will decide against Crown crates on principle. I remember my time as a newbie. After over a year of playing I got lots of free stuff, or had a chance to buy it , that they will never get.
In my personal view this grudge against new ones getting something free while I have already got some, and I'm over the pain of leveling, that is belittling to the spirit. But it's my personal opinion, YMMV.2 -

If I've understood correctly most of the rewards are per-character, but the account unlocks and the crown crates are per account.
What I'm not sure of is whether levelling a 2nd character lets you choose a 2nd account unlock. For example at level 20 you get a choice of 3 costumes (Covenant Scout, Lion Guard Knight or Mages Guild robes). I'm not sure if that means levelling 3 characters will allow you to choose all 3, or if you choose one and miss out on the other two.
My characters are currently levels 4, 7, 8 (x2),13, 23 and 44 and I have a mule at level 3. At the moment I'm avoiding levelling any of them so I can get the rewards after the patch hits, and if I really think it's worth it I might temporarily pass my mules inventory to another character and level him up too. It sounds like it'd be worth getting him to level 7 for the bag upgrade at least.
