mild rant,
apologies in advance.
I still don't get why people are upset at other players for playing how they want.
If a streamer wants to play CP over noCP, or wear this set or that set, or wants to express their thoughts on what's good/bad with the game, or play with their toes on the keyboard... just let em be and do what you wanna do.
I think players get upset at the influence networks other people have and try to control or manipulate it to push their way of playing or their agenda.
A streamer is a human being - do you really care if they are doing this or that, or are you upset at the potential for other people to follow their ideas / way of play and are fighting against that out of fear? If so, *** you honestly. Why do you think you get to go in a streamer's channel and spew your ***? Plenty of other online spaces for you to do that. Build up your own influence network and influence your own ideas, or follow someone you agree with.
Conversely, heads of influence networks - whether they're heads of guilds in game or twitch communities or discord channels or zone chat warriors - you do you. Don't let lil *** clackin away on keyboards deter you from what you want to accomplish for yourself. If shade is thrown your way, turn it into hype. There will be plenty of virtual worlds, plenty of video games, plenty of influence networks formed and fallen, plenty of opportunities for you to fail and learn and succeed. No sense livin or dyin based on a silly scrolls and dragons based mmo - the same issues will resurface with each new if you don't realize it's all internal. Enough trolls massing together and it makes a nice mirror - don't pick apart your own face... but don't get lost in your own eyes either. You're you and you won't be anything else so might as well be you.
There's plenty of people that believe in you but only if you believe in yourself.
edit: /endrant, nothin to see here, move along de wey
