They need to make 2-handed weapons count as two set pieces. The only thing that makes you think dual wield is OP is that people who use it can use three full armor sets. That's it.

Stop the freaking nerf threads already. If you're complaining about dual wield being strong, then why aren't you playing a dual wield character? Just want to complain about it, but don't want to play it, I guess.

If the devs nerfed things every time someone cried about it on the forums, they'd destroy the game.

and what about nerf pet sorc, cause meeeting a train with 24 sorcs with each 2 pets is sooo bad, they burn all and everything down, not to speak about the lag they cauze!

And also lets talk about the the ultimate from destrution staves, when we are at it. Eye of the Storm/flame or whatever is the most casted Ulti in the Game, cauze it is totally OP!

And so on....

I really just wanted to say: No more NERFS anymore, it wrecks this game more and more.
and before you post something like the above talk and read a bit before you do so, and you soon see that DW is not at all overperforming since all the nerfs it got already. no useable ulti, vMA daggers are a waste, almost all about it is a waste, and that is why it is mostly only used backbar and frontbar you have 2handed anything, but not dw!

DW does NOT need a Nerf. Most of the posts on here indicate a buff needed for Stamina.

The OP post reads like FOMO rather than any tested fact I'm afraid, and for Magika builds DW has been nerfed to heck.

i have found a solution. Nerf the OP when they are using DW. then everybody is happy. The OP got their nerf, and everyone who has a clue about how things work, didnt.

This is not True, the Offhand weapon shows XXX Damage as tooltip, however only a small ammount of the Offhand weapon counts to your Weapondmg.

This only works on the Frontbar, so when you swap to your backbaar you still loose the 4pcs and 5pcs bonus. (except buffing stats like Briarheart when active)

Still they share the same Cooldown on the Forntbar, and the DW skills can only proc the Mainhand Enchantment. Offhand enchant can only be procced with Heavy / light attacks.

Well this results from beeing able to wear penetration sets + a DPS set, and one of those sets can only be on the frontbar (when using a monsterset).

IF stam could only wear the same setup as Magicka can, their DPS would be equal, if not less than the Magicka DPS in a group.

From my experience for PvE dual wield is better due to Deadly Cloak. Can't pass up that reduced AoE damage. PvP 2Hander due to Burst+Heal/MajorBrutality. If I ever use 2hander for PvE its for funsies :P. All in all play what you like and have fun

Alright alright I feel better! Look I started this for selfish reasons and don't really want a nerf to happen to any characters. My magsorc had been nerfed just about into the ground overnight and i just wanted to be a *** and make myself feel better at all of your expense. Sorry but hey I'm human and feel played over the nerf of my favorite character because of these forum discussions. anyways I'd erase the whole discussion but I don't think you can, can you?

I dont think u can delete it im afraid. But i feel your pain, i used to main a magsorc until last nerf as well, now i only run warden for pvp.
However posting nerf threads will only break the classes even more, and will eventually make all of them useless, and no one wants that.

Tnx for your honesty btw, hope u will figure out something suitable for u in PvP.

Dual wield bleed stamina builds are stronger than 2h at the moment. Also abusing the dual wield infused weapon bug is literally all the rage at top tier play.

If i could use 2x 5p sets plus a monsterset i would switch instantly to twohand.

But yeah DW is just better atm, so why should one change?

I don't think ZOS should nerf DW as we stamina players needs the damage. If you'll nerf us again, raidleaders will prefer magicka players instead.

It's just that simple difference between twohand and DW.... better not nerf DW, but buff Twohand!

The post was in reference to the magsorc nerfs in pve in light of the fact I don't play pvp ( not really into the light attaack, jump, ability, jump, damage shield 1 , damage shield 2 and 3, jump, stun or knock down ability, jump, jump, run around rock, jump, run rinse and repeat.) Play style. Should've made it more of a stamina nerf thread but like I said. I don't want anyone nerfed! I was just playing along in pve and my character just started to get weaker and weaker. Didn't understand why then found forums.......... well. I like seeing ppl have fun and destroy stuff but my character was nerfed due to ppl crying for months on forums! Why not just discuss why your character is less superior and make a comprehensive plan for buffing it to the right balance. Instead it was " magsorc so OP! So unfair! Why! Nerf, nerf, nerf! I died 50 times by nightblade out of nowhere but 52 times by magsorc infront of my face. I'm not spending anymore of my daddies money in crown store or on eso plus till I can kill magsorcs with my s&b dk wearing crafted 3 piece deaths wind, 2 piece training and 6 piece flanking and one really cool blue random weapon!"

Dual wield doesnt need a nerf. ZOS just needs to figure out when they balance something it doesn't always need to be in both areas of gameplay
