Questline and act functionality for players

I would love to see the option to reset questlines so that we can replay them and perhaps even the particular stage, act, or section of larger questlines (for instance the various points in fighters guild, mages quild, etc.

I assume this would be as simple as adding in a UI that essentially is the visual component of a :set stage: command

but would really like the option of replaying questlines without the requirement of starting a new character. as I really have no interest in other characters in this point but ESO is full of amazing stories and quests that I would LOVE to experience again.

rewards, XP, etc. can be as trivial as nothing after the first completion and I would be fine with that.

it would also allow us the capacity to play with other new characters or players that would otherwise be instanced away from our character because of quest progress (the classic spontaneously disappear that happens because someone already completed a quest or something)

@ZOS_GinaBruno , @ZOS_JessicaFolsom could you pass this idea up the chain, would be much appreciated.

    Have it as an addition to Cadwell's stuff. Have him say something along the lines of Meridia is giving you the chance to see how the world would have differed if you chose a different path than the one you took.

    This would be cool; as-is the best I can suggest is take an existing character who hasn't done it through the quest on the PTS, so your progress isn't permanent. But that only works if you HAVE a character already who hasn't done it.

    Eh... I prefer how we generally do not repeat questings (dailies aside), and live with the changes some quest choices make to our environment. Repeating story quests seems just... so lore-bending... making the whole thing feel too much like a game for my taste, I prefer immersion over replay.
    (but then, I also have fourteen characters, so I do get to play quests to the point of knowing them by heart anyhow...)

    I for one would much rather see an function that keeps a group together despite different character-specific instancing directions, dragging everyone through the group leaders instancing, to allow friends to accompany new comrades through quests they themselves already finished...

    One other thing I could see... might be "training scenarios", possibly as daily, letting you revisit some storyline fights in "hardmode"... like, for example, a training fight featuring pre-nerf Doshia, or any of the other big boss fights in "difficult" mode... with extra reward boxes for success... something like that anyhow.
