Patch notes look freaking awesome!

Did Wrobel have an epiphany? The new patch notes I had to look over twice just to make sure I was actually reading it correctly xD


AoE caps? Gone! Holy crap...We’ve been asking for this for ages! Finally, a return to some tactical maneuvering in cyrodill. And perhaps some improved gameplay since the servers won’t have to calculate all those caps for each individual AoE. We shall see! But this is a very good change! Well Done Zenimax


Mag dk’s get some indirect buffs? FINALLY.
Been on the recieving end of every nerf for the last 4 patches straight! A new monster set (zaan I think?) That also acts as an increasing damage DoT effect the longer it’s connected (within 10 meters) Basically it acts as a Pseudo execute as long as you can proc it. But I’ll take it!

There were a lot of other good changes. The Quality of Life additions for housing were spectacular, the storage is going to be a very welcome addition and will definitely get me in there again.

Battlegrounds Back to no CP, another great change! Will allow much morr fun for small play groups who want to have fun fights! The additional AP is nice too

I like the direction these new sets are going in and I look forward to the new patch! Very happy with these changes and has a bit of something for everyone, well done!

    One of the things I like the most for this patch is the introduction of these new sets: Not because I like their effect or something but because they are not % proc based.
    I hope they'll follow this logic for the future too, I used to automatically ignore every % proc based set in the past patches.

    I hate unreliable action fight.

    Zaan is a bit OP, but being single target, low range and having high cd might balance it.

    It’s strong, but I don’t see it being OP. The effect requires a weapon light attack proc. So any mag duel wield build or Sword and Board won’t actually have a high uptime on it.

    Staff builds are different, but being staff builds = ranged means they won’t be able to effectively use it as much.

    It may need some tweaks depending on some factors but It’s main attraction is that, if you crit for a light attack correctly, you can use it as an execution! This is a great way to give dk’s a DoT increase since Dots are generally very weak and get easily out healed and Cleansed

    In fact, patch notes are far from what is regularly asked on the forum. That is, the developers did not do as the players ask, but as they see fit. Therefore, this is a good natch potes :)

    Seven ticks of damage. Why didn't you move away to break the beam? Was this just a one-on-one test?

    You realize that’s the total DoT over time right?

    Either way, as I said if there are ways to buff it to high damages that are over-performing. The set will be nerfed. It stil requires a weapon crit light attack to proc that. In 10 meters. For 5 seconds.

    Elfbane to artificially increase time and multiplier and over 7s with no counter. Strong but not that strong sorry to say.

    The patch was good for the most part would have like to have seen some sorc love we really need more skill diversity but all in all not a bad patch

    They did buff the atro Ult quite a bit, and there was a set in there that lets your shields stay active for longer. There was a couple other things but sorcs got some touches too
