Make Tabards hide able with the new outfit system

Kind of defeats the purpose of an outfit system if we cant show pride in our guilds but hide the gawd awful looking things from showing our styles off.

✭✭✭✭✭Tabards should have been this way from the beginning. I hate having to wear costumes to hide my tabard (and my gear). Conversely, I also hate having to see my gear on some characters (e.g. my Sorcerer, who wears Necropotence) when I need to have my tabard displayed for guild events.
Give us a hide tabard option, a la hide helmet, and make the tabard default to the top appearance layer. That way, we can see it over our outfits and costumes if we want to, or hide it if we don't.7 -

✭✭✭✭✭Basically, I want to show off my guild name without having to show a tabard. I don't care how they do it, but I think it needs to be possible. Personally, I'd say the easiest fix is to just allow me to choose one of my 5 guilds to display on my nameplate and completely remove that feature from tabards. It's a system that will feel sloppy after the new outfits come into play, especially if players start abandoning tabards (and their guildnames) because they can no longer hide the tabard properly.5 -

✭Keep the tabards they way they are, BUT dont have the guild tag bound to it
Have in your guild opinions a "represent guild" so players can choose what guild they want to represent and have the tabard change to the selected guild. Simple and easy should of been done 3 years ago atleast.0 -

Yep, tabard and guild tag should be to separate things
A guild armour set would be awesome, not just a tabard2 -

YES. Now that we have a Outfit creation they could add an optional uniform in for the Guilds.
The guild-master makes it and players can copy it for a gold price and it uses up an outfit slot.Edited by Iccotak on January 25, 2018 9:22AM0
