What happened to VD weapons? -ANSWERED

Edit: Got the location. Thank you very much for those who helped! For anyone else who is looking for the answer, here's a link to locations of the Elite Gear Vendors who sell Vicious Death weapons (and the others like Transmutation).

I remember when VD weapons were everywhere. Every guild bank had them in abundance. Now they sell for 200k-1M and I haven’t gotten a single one with my rewards for the worthy and not with my end of campaign rewards. What happened?

They were removed for rewards of the worthy a few patches ago. The only way to get weapons is through loot boxes from the gear vendors in cyrodiil or guild stores or a friendly trade.

There’s no vendor that sells it in Cyrodiil.

You may want to explain what VD stands for. Not everyone uses abbreviations for literally everything in the game.

Vicious Death is a Elite Gear Set. Sets pieces can be bought directly from the Elite Gear Vendors using Alliance Points, and are also available via "Rewards for the Worthy" mails by participating in PvP. Pieces are Abah's Watch Style in Light Armor.
Bonuses

2 items: Adds 1-129 Spell Damage
3 items: Adds 12-1096 Maximum Magicka
4 items: Adds 9-833 Spell Critical
5 items: When you kill a Player, they violently explode for 183-15815 Flame Damage to all other enemies in a 4 meter radius.

Pieces
The set consists of light armor and jewelry in all slots, as well as weapons and shields of all types.

Yes you can! You can inside Cyrodiil. I went to the eastern gate on AD side and at the crafting area, there was a Khajiit I could talk to. 20K AP a box. Went through 2Mill AP and finally got 2 swords of VD. Just in case anyone else who reads this who want to know. I will update my original post to give a link to the locations.
