Extremely low FPS since today

The game is just blurring everything I do, right up from the loadscreen. Like I spin my character on the select menu and I can see a phantom tail of my Khajit trying to catch up. When I log into the game, even the menu selection appears blurry. The whole thing is giving me motion sickness. The graphics on this game have been fine for over a year on my end. What's the fix?

Check graphics card drivers and settings

Download and install latest drivers for your graphics card:

NVIDIA
AMD

In addition, you should ensure your video driver is selecting the correct GPU for ESO by opening either the NVIDIA Control Panel or AMD Catalyst Control Panel and ensuring that ESO64.exe is making use of your primary GPU.

Download Windows updates

Download and install the latest version of DirectX here.

Download and install the Visual C++ update here.

Change the game’s graphics settings

You can change the game's graphics settings by following the process below:

From ESO’s log in screen, click SETTINGS.
Select Video.

Change your Display Mode and lower the Resolution.
Turn Anti-Aliasing off.
