I logged in to this today. Can someone help me understand why do I have to rename? There are literally dozens of people with the same variation of this name, yet I have to rename my ever first magblade??????? I've had this for years, literally, and now suddenly something's changed?

And make a ticket to the support saying what has been done after checking all your characters. Possibly someone "borrowed" your account and messed up a bit with it.

I had it for years though, and I can name at least 3 other active players that have the same name, with some different punctuation or whatnot.

✭✭✭✭✭You might have better luck getting an answer by using the Ask For Help option and replying to the email they send you. If you you believe the name is not offensive or in violation of the TOS, that's probably your best chance for getting that changed.
Hint: When you bring it up to ZOS, I'd suggest you focus on the name itself not being offensive/inappropriate and steer clear of the obvious innuendo in the lyrics in the song your character's name references.0 -

I think he just lost the context of the situation. Greevir is right, this isn't the first time someone's lost a long time name out of the blue.
Worded properly, I'm sure a bunch of people could get an overzealous employee to change even my name for perceived religious implications, even though that had nothing to do with my choice.
Things of a sexual nature like your lost name are kind of on borrowed time in this community.1 -

✭The game's ESRB rating is Mature for "Blood and Gore, Sexual Themes, Use of Alcohol, Violence." You're supposed to be an adult to purchase and access the game (even the website asks for age). And then there are people that get upset about character names or language in general... I can't help but to LOL at all the sensitive and sheltered people. If words hurt your feelings then maybe you should use some parental controls for yourself while on the internet and just stick to Minecraft. Stop trying to censor the world.0
