Morag Tong Set

Can someone please help me with a viable build using the Morag Tong Set... I have numerous pieces and just can't decide on a direction to go. I want to PvP mostly, but some Dungeons and PvE a little too. Advice with Race, Class, CP's (690), Skills, and complementing set/s would be nice!

I am thinking Bosmer, Khajiit, Redguard, Orc - NB or DK - ...... - ...... -

I appreciate the helpful advice as my noobiness knows no bounds!

All those races are fine. The DK would make best use of morag tong since they have venemous claw and noxious breath. It's used as a group utility set for groups running several stam (will buff everyone's poison injects, and the stam dk poison abiltiies if you have couple of those in group). Try pairing it with hundings or night mothers or 5 VO If you need the extra sustain.

For PVP you can make use of it but once again stam dk would be best. I know it's good for some bow builds as well. LIke if you use lethal arrow.

Using Morag Tong, you'll want to maximize your poison damage. Sources for poison damage: http://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Poison_Damage

The Bow skill's Poison Arrow skill and its morphs.
The Acid Spray morph of the Bow's Arrow Spray skill.
The Lethal Arrow morph of the Bow's Snipe skill.
Several of the Dragonknight's skills have a morph that changes their damage to poison: Searing Strike's Venomous Claw morph, Fiery Breath's Noxious Breath morph, and Magma Armor's Corrosive Armor morph.
All weapons enchanted with a Glyph of Poison (using a Kuoko runestone).
Vampires' Mist Form morph, Poison Mist.
The Undaunted's skill Trapping Webs, and also the spiders created by its synergy if using its Shadow Silk morph.
Poisons applied to weapons with a Ravage Health or Creeping Ravage Health effect also deal poison damage.

So for maximum poison usage, you'll probably be looking at a Stam DK with a Bow. Stam DK with a bow backbar is a pretty common PVE build. Stam DK in PVP varies a lot in effectiveness, so it might eb worth looking at effective Stam DK players for advice. If you do want to play a Stam DK, great. If not, you'll be using the bow a lot with whatever class you choose.

For PVE. It's only viable on groups with 4 stamdks.

For PVP. I don't really think it really worth.

Morag Tong is used in vTrials only. Stam players use Poison Injection + Poison Glyph on their main hand. A stam dk would benefit the most paird with sunderflame.

for pve, obviously stamDK will go best with this set.
ıts very situational however, that Its only worth it when you have 2-3 other stamDKs in your raid.

In PvP there are some pretty decent bow gank builds with x5 Marksman x5 Morag plus a monster piece.

For PvP 5 Morag tong and 5 poisonous serpent or sheer venom. You would be squishy though.

Morag tong can also be great on warden. Subterranean assault is poison damage, and if used every 3s will be >20% of your damage. Since SA hits multiple targets, it is much better than poison injection or venom claw for debuffing trash packs with the Morag Tong effect. It has about double the range and area of noxious breath, and adds Major Breach as well as Fracture.

Aye I've used it in PvP on a stam DK with this set up and it's a nice combo. Poison Injection hits like a truck.

Morag Tong become Morag Thong thats best use out of it now.

My StamDK is a Khajiit with 5pc Hundings, 5pc Morag Tong, then a monster set. DKs are the most suited cause of the poison damage class skills.

It is my PvP set with poison on 1 DW weapon and crafted tri-poison of hindering on bow. Works good.
