Not very clever so this has probably already been suggested, but how about a class centered around arenas? Instead of one hand and shield have one hand and net? And introduce the trident as a weapon. Fits the lore and would allow for plenty of crown store items.
Just a suggestion. Maybe I have watched Spartacus one too many times.

Yes... you indeed have watched Spartacus too much. Its also why some opinions can be bad ones and why not everyone should be in a position of creative development.
As gar as lore goes, various types of "warriors" have partaken in gladiatoral bouts. They can hardly be considered a class unto themselves, as all sorts of mages and melee fighters have been gladiators.
As far as a trident goes, this is simply reduntant if and when they decide to add polearm. And with how eso operates, this is strictly a weapon skill line of which a holy light wielding warrior, a dragon imbued fiery warrior, a dark illusionist life stealing warrior, a deadric harnessing lightning infused warrior, and a warrior who is one with nature and commands the frozen element can ALL make use of.
Sorry.

Love critics. Risk nothing while trying to take away everything.
One question I ask critics are what are your ideas? More often than not they do not have any as the only skill they have honed is how to be critical of others.
And yes opinions can be bad. I find your opinions horrible. And because it is an opinion I can be just as right as you. See how that works?
The point is a new class suggestion and new new weapon tree. One that actually fits into the lore. Yes there are different types of warriors that have participated in arenas. And with three class branches you could have three close combat warriors; say an offensive, defensive and crowd control. Close combat as they would be used to tactics used in enclosed areas.
Anyway, going back to think of more ideas while you go read about others ideas.
How about a Gladiator class that would only wear pauldrons on one shoulder and queue John Cena entry music ingame every time he got a kill?exeeter702 wrote: »Not very clever so this has probably already been suggested, but how about a class centered around arenas?
