Roll an alt and level it up.
For people with 14/14 chars, there will be an extra slot purchasable in update 17
The level up rewards include consumables, crafting materials, gold, the basic brown horse, and a few crown crates (account bound so you can't just farm crates by rolling new alts over and over)0 -

They're incentives to level new characters, rewards for new players, and bonuses for not sticking to a single main.
No one should be getting upset that they have already leveled characters while people benefiting from this do not. In leveling those characters, tons of gold and items were farmed while these bonuses really only apply to people who have less than a few days of played time on the character.
Among the benefits is a free mount. It's a standard horse. Costs 10,000 gold. By all means, make a brand new character to get something you can farm in an hour.3
