A bunch of people were being silly and light-hearted, and having fun.
Then one person makes a dumb joke about how he was dating a "tranny" (his word, not mine).
Someone gets immediately triggered and starts screaming about how there are only two sexes, not three, even though no one mentioned anything about "three sexes."
Fun is ruined.
I close the chat box.

✭Yes, well, worst thing you can do about these ...individuals, is paying attention. They just say stupid racist things to feel important, and yes of course they don't really have much of a moral system. So don't answer to them, just screenshot, report and ignore. Believe me I get why you would react to it, it's the human thing to do after all, but a report is the best way.1 -

✭✭✭✭✭My favorite is the periodic chats about real and in game economics in Craglorn zone chat, usually sparked by people wanting to buy items in bulk at a steep discount or sell items far above the MM/TTC price.
Closely followed by the usual chorus of "LF/WTS Skyreach carries" and "LF Trials group" with side notes of:
"You're a jerk for stealing my node while I was in combat" rant and the resulting "Quit whining" retorts
"You're a jerk for leaving useless stuff in the chest" rant and the resulting "Well, I'm gonna do it to annoy you" retorts

If you can suspend being insulted by what people say, some of the antics can be quite amusing. For instance watching two people trolling each other and waiting to see if one wins.
The best convos of course are where I can help someone else. Or, where I see others giving help. Then there are those times where some completely off topic conversation happens for a few minutes. During which a group a players have a meeting of the minds, then go their own separate ways.....3 -

Some of the guild adds are the funniest thing in ESO.
One guild was advertising something like: 'Looking for high energy, exciting people to join us for raids, PvP and other highly competitive...
