Your favorite MMO to "people" watch and ESO character bios

While lamenting this latest bout of insomnia I began to think about the MMO's past and present, that imo, were the most fun to just "people" watch (just hang around and look at other's characters, names, outfits, bio's, etc.).
I find ESO can be pretty entertaining to park in the various town squares, usually near the bank or WS. But I think the best, for me, was City of Heroes. I had a lot of fun seeing everyone's creativity on display with the massive amount of customization available and reading the clever bio's and backstories many came up with. I would enjoy being able to read some people's bios and backstories on their ESO avatars one day. For sure, @SantieClaws comes to mind!

City of Heroes and Champions Online. I used to have a good/entertaining time reading peoples' various bios.

    God I miss bios.

Starwars Galaxies. It was fun to read people bios and to see which points of interests they had visited. I usually did it in the Mos Eisley or Theed cantina. Or just when camping in the wild when I got visitors in my camps. I miss camps.

"I am a nightblade. Blending the disciplines of the stealthy agent and subtle wizard, I move unseen and undetected, foil locks and traps, and teleport to safety when threatened, or strike like a viper from ambush. The College of Illusion hides me and fuddles or pacifies my opponents. The College of Mysticism detects my object, reflects and dispels enemy spells, and makes good my escape. The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."

@Knootewoot I completely forgot about SWG, but sadly at that time in my gaming life I don't think I appreciated the little things!

Khajiit too has wished there were a space to tell tall stories of past travels.

I mean we can tell them here yes but a little something you could click on to understand a little more about the half naked elf running past you in Belkarth.

This one was born on the road to a family of travelling merchants and was soon joined by a little orc sister, Rosie, who was found chewing some wolf bones by the side of the road.

Khajiit parted with her family when they returned to Elsweyr and this one ended up living in and around The Rosy Lion in Daggerfall. Rosie went away to Wrothgar for a while to try and lose her Khajiit accent but eventually returned to join this one in Daggerfall.

This one found she had a natural talent for pocket engineering at the highest level and began to work with a number of apprentices. After a particularly productive trip to Daggerfall Castle Khajiit managed to acquire the funds to purchase a small tavern in Bangkorai.

The profits from that business and from the collective pocket engineering skills of Rosie and the apprentices eventually funded the purchase of our present residence, Castle Claws.

There are now 12 of us - Khajiit and the apprentices - and together we run a theatre, the tavern and The Santie Claws College of Pocket Engineering. There is also seasonal work at the Fishmas Grotto.

Used to quite enjoy wandering the rows of the (first) bazaar in EQ when I was too tired to do anything else. Check out the gear people were wearing and look it up to farm later etc. ~ can still wander around in the the most used AFK spots and enjoy char names/guild names. Always surprised by the number of people, even if the 120 showing in /w all zone are actually just 20 boxers xD

In Tamriel, I will often just wander around in places like Auridon and mouse over peeps to check out names. With no option to /inspect that's about all one can do really.

Well, you can add notes to your character in the guild roster. I read some nice "Bio's" in the Band of Daggers.
