Will the slots be account wide or character wide or server wide?
This will determine heavily whether i buy anything or not.

"Outfit slots are per-character, much like bag space upgrades. You will be able to purchase additional ones per character with crowns."

Yes, you can. The one restriction is that you can't make an item for one particular item slot or a weapon family look like an item for a different item slot or a different weapon family. For example, you can't make a helm look like a boot (sorry to everyone who dreamed of wearing a boot on your head), or make a bow look like a two-hander.
Ah (Told you I may be dense...lol) - I thought they were character-bound because I couldn't bank geodes or move them to my crafter. So I open them on my PvP character but can use them on my crafter. Thanks for clearing that up@dotme
Yes, you can. The Crystals are a Currency that is available to any character on your account. Your PvP character earns them, your crafter uses them. Just use the bank to give items you get on your PvP character to your Crafter to change then send them back.
As you probably know, changing a trait binds the item to your account, but not your character.
And, just to add, the Crystals are automatically added to the pool, so you don't have to deposit them first.
