Layman's gaming covering the first big step in uncovering actual odds. Hopefully this gets more traction and we see the actual drop rates in loot crates over the entire gaming industry! Think about your average person who see's an apex mount and is like dang! I want one of those! Maybe I will toss down $20 bucks for crowns and get one! Then he see's the odds are like.01% and just doesn't waste his money. This will make devs more reliant on content, polish, bug fixes, and balance for income rather than loot crates!

For those who don't want to watch the video. The App store now has a requirement that all apps and games must disclose the actual odds of each items drop rate or be removed. Hopefully this is the start of industry self regulation before the regulating bodies draft legislation.

Was discussed a few weeks ago. General consensus was it was nothing more than a PR exercise, but at least it was a PR exercise that was in our, the consumers, best interest.
