Solo PVE Leveling Sorc Build?

I apologize...I'm a bit lazy in getting through existing threads.

But would someone be kind enough to share a solo build for a sorc for fastest leveling experience possible? I'd like to avoid as must frustration as possible while taking on packs of mobs and completing quest lines. Just trying to get to Craglorn ASAP.

Familiar, Twilight, Bound Armour, Magelight, Impuls and Atronach and their morphs. Works well as tank in group dungeons to.

I have found Crit surge + Inner light + Impulse or its morphs to be pretty useful at fighting groups of mobs (even in public dungeons), also try getting as much Spell Critical as you can if you'll try this.
Do you mind? I'm busy doing the fishstick, it's a very delicate state of mind.

My sorc is in a VR8 zone right now. She was my 2nd toon, but got shelved due to failure to focus. This is how I have been running her. She dies maybe once or twice per zone on average. And it’s never due to the build, always because I effed up by pulling extra dudes, choking on the buttons, etc. As far as PvE leveling goes she never encountered anything she couldn’t handled solo pre, and especially post, VR nerf.

Build 1 - Sword/Shield – Invasion, Thundering Presence, Liquid Lighting, Hardened Ward, Twilight matriarch. (Also 2-handed with Stampede – which ever I feel like)

Matriarch out. Her primary purpose is the heal she does. She has saved me so many times I owe her a few dinners at the least. Probably a pony to. Very simple rotation – Invasion/Stampede into the group – pop Thundering, Drop Liquid Lightning, and start wailing on whatever is in front of you (Healers then mages first obviously). Only hit Hardened Ward if you need it. Hitting that at the same time the matriarch heals you will pretty much bring you back up to full health. On Outfitter I have the build saved as “Shock Bomb” as it never gets old charging into a pack of mobs, drop lightning everywhere, and zap the shvit out of everything in sight.

Build2 – Inferno Staff – The three I keep on this one are Destructive Clench, Clanfear, and Matriarch. The other two slots will swap between Inner Light, Weakness to Elements, Velocious Curse, etc… Inferno for destructive clench just to be able to knock things away. If they are immovable (such as Alchemist, Gargoyle, Stormies etc.) I put something else in there obviously.

I find staff with pets to be extremely easy. I much prefer my charge/stampede melee build.

Five light for spell/magicka boosts etc. Two heavy really just for a little health regen. Thundering presence will overcharge your armor/spell resistance every time. I have been going a mix of Ashen Grip and Seducer set bonuses…. Kinda fun running around as a sorc and zapping everything with electricity only to routinely breath fire like a DK…. But with tomorrow’s change to set bonuses that will be going away as you will need sets of 5 for the set’s real special bonuses now. I will most likely go 5 Magnus’ Axe and 3 staff/4 Sword & Shield Torug’s. This is assuming what I have seen about the new sets is correct.

Edit: The biggest draw back to this build is the animation. As awesome as it is to see all that electricity flying around, it does interfere with the flashy gold/yellow lines of an incoming power attack. Even the red ones at times as well. You really have to be aware of the NPC's actual motions, and not rely on those flashy warning lines.

Intended for PvE soloing/leveling use only. Using product outside of intended use may, and probably will, end up with undesirable results.

He wants this for leveling. Assuming you want DPS, you merely need to be aware that leveling is done by the abilities placed on the active bar whenever experience is gained by killing or receiving rewards. There are two skill lines that gain experience differently being Mages Guild and Fighters Guild which do it based on Lorebooks and Daedra/Undead Kills respectively. I would suggest concentrating on the Skill Lines of Destruction Staff and your preference of Class Skill with a sideline of Fighters Guild.

I'm new to the game and just started leveling a sorcerer,I'm trying to focus on ranged dps but I'm not too into using a bow so for up close I'm thinking either dual weapon or two handed, anyone have any recommendations on a nice build that may fit this build.

Power Surge, Liquid Lightning, wall of elements, heavy attack with a lightning staff for trash.

For bosses follow up with lightning storm ultimate, then weapon swap, and velocious curse, crystal frags, and crushing shock
