I play a NB and I gank a lot. Your post doesn’t provide any info about your build, so it’s hard to offer advice. If you’d like advice specific to your toon, let us know where you’re having an issue.

In general, there are things you can do to protect yourself. One reason that NBs are powerful is that players are predictable and lazy. Every class has stealth, but it’s rare to see anyone stealth when just standing around. As a NB, I never just stand out in the open. I also always use the terrain...use barriers to disrupt line of sight between me and opponents. Attack from locations that are harder to gap close to. NB players tend to learn these techniques because it’s such an inherent part of the class...other classes often just sort of lumber along in the open.

Another general tip is to maybe adjust your build away from the Meta, especially in the CP tree. People play differently, and what works for an expert theorycrafter might not work well for you. On my build, I had to adjust the red tree quite a bit away from the conventional wisdom. Allocating points to defend against the type of attacks I was losing to really helped. A lot of players just copy cookie cutter builds...which is fine...but they might not help you innthe areas you need help with. If you’re getting slaughtered by NBs all the time, consider the type of damage they’re doing. What can you adjust to mitigate some of it? Do you need to reduce some power in exchange for defense? Are there abikitiesmyou can bring in to assist?

Those are general tips...they might give you ideas, or they might not. But NBs are pretty powerful, and it’s not entirely because of cloak. But cloak is a core skill, so it’s going to kill you from time to time, the same way other classes get core skills that can be tough to beat.
