Bahraha's Curse still dropping only in light version

When thieves guild came out and I was still below champion 160 i easily got a heavy version of Bahrahas Curse. Two months later or so there was a patch and since then only light version of the set drops. I literally farmed it for months and I still only get light armour. Xbox One version. Can anyone confirm it's the same on PC/PS4?

The standard drops from the chests will be light only and the jewelry is arcane only. However, the rewards boxes from the various quests there can give medium and heavy. If you have a toon that can run the main questline you'll have a good shot at some heavy armor or you can check guild traders. They often get posted there for a very reasonable price.

I believe Bahrahas Curse was updated in One Tamriel so that only Light armor armor and arcane jewelry would ever drop in the overworld.

The only way to get different weighted armors and different trait jewelry is to do the Daily Thieves Guild Heists. Either get cranking on that everyday, or hope there's someone selling it in guild traders and buy it.

As far as I know heavy Bahrahas Curse set pieces can drop as a reward from Daily Thieves guild heists quests.

The problem is that there is an RNG chance for that. You might as well get one of the other thieves guild sets in random version (light, medium or heavy).
So you need to do the quest with an optional objective (within 8 minutes) and you still need to be lucky to get RNG to drop you Bahrahas Curse set with heavy variant.

All this once a day per character.

However - this set is not bound - meaning that you might have a chance to buy it from a guild trader....
