As a new player, this thread really turns me off trying out PvP.

In 25 years of gaming, its always the same storyline. Pvpers are their own worst enemy, and kill their own game.

I play counter strike since Im literally 7. more than 15 years passed.
Point is, you can't just give up because there are cheaters, because a real competitive player plays to improve, not to win.
You can't just accuse all PvP'ers because some people cheated or some other people thinks that guy cheated.
That is non-sense.

ESO PvP may not be very competitive, but Its hard to play solo, and when you do manage to do good, you feel rewarded.(despite zos consistently nerfing 1vX)

If that’s the guy he’s running a pure tank build with mostly defensive skills in that vid. He’s alternating between resto ult and shield wall and those dudes are trying to Jesus beam at full health. When the ults come down he does take damage. Yes he’s def cheesing it in this clip, but that’s a combo of that and those guys taking the bait. I tanked 7 players on a light armor magblade yesterday without thee resto ult, just shield and healing ward. They had me out of stam and ccd so it’s not hard to imagine this guys avoiding that kind of damage with a stam DK tank build. Who can say for sure but in that clip it doesn’t look like cheating.

Most people can't even tell the obvious difference between a sDk an mDk anyways.
These type of talk builds always did exist, It only really works against potatoes and even then, you need to be worse than a pug to die to these.

I mean one of the guys is using a 2h, starts to dizzy swing, then starts spamming whip... 2h sDK using whip...

Yes. Countless times on my mDk people called me a ''Kodi sheep'', or ''meta boi''
Kodi doesnt even play mDk ffs... and mDk is anything but meta. Its very strong, but Im talking open world here..
And recently while I was complaining about the state of my sDk some dude came out and legit said,
''DK is fine, you're trash, they hit like 8-9k whips and root you 7/24''
The guy said this despite he saw me using a 2 hander.

So yeah,most people who don't play Dk seriously don't have much idea about the class. Except they know Its a Dk, oh well that is a start.

Anyways, Being a sDk is really a sad experience nowadays, with ignorant people like those and literally all of my friends rerolling into mDk or stamdens... I expected people to show me respect for playing a medium armor Dk. nope, I was definitely wrong.
