Can we revert all the blanket nerfs and removal of counters that just haven't worked?

TL:DR at top to get the point across. Players have been nerfed so awfully and consistantly that players just feel too weak and feel the need to zerg or the like, and the game has generally become less fun and more restrictive, and it has taken away a lot of the class identity. Details and examples for PvE and PvP below.I'm sorry if this doesn't make too much sense, but basically everything has taken too much inane nerfs that didn't work. And if there IS a nerf, a buf should be given to a weaker part so that the abuse of one aspect doesn't kill the class overall.

Look at how many blanket nerfs have gone through that didn't really fix any issue, just needlessly made classes worse. Many of these changes came around as a counter to CP, as well as the game being balanced around it, instead of just changing the CP values, the big and only semi needed sustain nerf.

Permablock builds that have "nerfed" by removing wrath and nerfing sustain from random places such as constitution, siphoner, DK passives etc. What happened? Oh yeah, they still exist, and through the maths really only the new formula change will fix it. So why not remove all the other truly needless nerfs that just made players weaker.


Blankety sets like shield breaker, things that come along as a hard counter to problems instead of, I don't know, fixing them?
Siphoner.
Befoul, duraks, etc completely shutting down many builds.
Cost poisons.
The changes to anything other than CP in the sustain nerf.
Class changes like the frag nerf.

No wonder people are unhappy and don't play smaller scale, they end up with high block cost/penalty because one certain build abused it. Losing healing because one build stacked it with a broken mechanic. So as players feel like they have to play a one trick pony in a group since so much other functionality is removed.

The state of PvE is a little better than PvP, but have still eaten their fair share of hits, such as heavy attacking becoming a clunky new meta and tanks seemingly screwed. The monster set crit change.

    I dunno the current meta just feels lame.

    Back in the day when we had hard caps i felt like it add balance to the game to an extent. Yes you had unkillable DKs and sorcs with shields out the bum but really those are more Class changes that needed and not Attribute changes that needed to happen.

    Yes getting rid of the Cap did improve the diversity of builds but at the same time it really just opened the door
    for more issues in Cyrodiil. we have gone from Impulse spam groups, To Steel tornado groups to Proxy det groups to Destro ult groups. And that's just for Group Zerg play.

    ZOS is never going to have balanced game play EVER. I feel like Pre 1.6 the game was balanced but just needed to correct certain classes and mechanics. What do they do ? take a freakin chain saw when only a scalpel was needed.

    Heavy attacking as the only rreal or focred game play to rcover resource. Well it gets old even if it seemed kewl tp start with.
