What it means to be a part of the ESO community

Hello forum friends

A new year is coming up and with it comes new members, new players and new content. This means that people like myself who thrive on the fun, helpful and friendly nature of the game will be continuing to help players feel more inclusive, suggesting events for guilds, offer assistance when needed and just generally being a good representation of what the ESO community means to me.

We all have days where we sign in, get on with it and go to bed - but for the most part I'd like to see myself and others I know to be approachable and helpful. Having a good experience will not only give the player more reason to come back and support the game but a little kindness goes a long, long way. You could be making a bigger difference than you realise :)

So to any newbies; Hello! Welcome!
To any vets; Hello, again! Welcome back!

    You're not my real dad!

If he yells at you like a daddy.
    Spanks you like a daddy.
And you obey him like a daddy.

    Then he is a daddy.

Maybe the one from your dreams that you wish was your bio daddy.

I like where this thread is goin. *eyebrow wiggle*

Seriously though, nice statement and sentiment. For the most part when a newbie identifies as a newb I'd say the forums tend to be very welcoming and helpful, but I hope people still go out of their way to lend some expertise, make a nice gesture or answer a question left unanswered now and then. Unironically. Even if its just one in the midst of the rest of the salt they're throwing around. The community here can be a an eyeroll at times, but should be the kinda place others can acclimate to and make friends easily.

For me, I just like to hear thoughts and ideas. I haven't even been posting as long as I've been surfing this place. ;)

Hi, my Computer died around December 11. Today, with Money on da back, i get finally a second Hand one. I played over the course of 2017 on average, i would say, 10 to 12 Hours daily. I think, 2018 will be going in this Direction, lol. This Game, or i rather call RL a Game is so deep and yes, even i meet quite a lot of... you know what i mean, i also met same awesome people, im in awesome Guilds and love the community to bits. Im playing on PC NA and i love it to meet newbies who really kick ass. I run a 4 Family Members Khajiit pack, a NB Vamp, a Healer NB Vamp, a confused Khajiit Werewolf Warden, a Sorcherer and my Khajiits hired a Imperial Templar who is mainly a Tank but spreads Healing and if he gets bored he just DPSs the shite out of da place if you get my meaning. Im now on cp501 and i tell you, the Computer is here in around 1 Hour. Then begins the longest Time ever, i have to download da Game. Maybe i see one or the other of you later on in Game

Huyen Swiftpaw, nightblade dps - PC EU (Retired)
Huyen Lightpaw, templar healer - PC EU (Retired)

Although I am consistently one of the grumpiest people on the forums I do love the game and a lot of the people who play it. And I am happy to help out "noobs!" I am on PC NA and if you need help leveling hit me up. Anything from helping you get wayshrines you don't have to food/drink and maybe even some Training gear. Oh and I do that roleplaying thing... so feel free to ask me about that too!

I never knew what it means to be part of the ESO community, and I've been here since 2014. Haven't been part of a game's community since my times seriously playing Eve Online in it's golden years 2007 - 2009 best years in gaming EVER!
