If cast while a projectile is moving towards you, does it remove the projectile?
Can it clear channels like soul strike and radiant destruction?
Can it clear dive/cutting dive/screaming cliff racers?

No to all three.
Look at your debuff bar. That’s what it clears. And any AOE / over time debuff will just get reapplied immediately (for instance, soul assault’s snare or wardens aoe defile)
So eclipse counters birds?

Doesn't really defend you as you still get hit by the birds.

Healing morph cancels out a lot of the damage. I like to let them get into a rhythm, where they really start mashing that button with passion, then throw eclipse on them and burn.
Not if they use an immovable pot; total dark won't fire.
Best counter is to pressure in moble rangee, use unstable core to setup unblockable burst that ignores imovable status (dots, purfying light, jabs/force pulse).

If they're mashing the pigeon button and not being pressured, they're usually saving that pot. Both morphs are good though, I approve of either strategy. I was /lurking in the other threads where this was debated @Minno
