Taunts

I’m new to tanking. Im still building my character up but am I crazy or are there only a handful of taunt skills available? The first skill from sword and shield, the undaunted skill and the ice staff (wtf is that about anyway ?!)

Are any of these better taunts than the others or is it exactly the same?

Your insights are always appreciated ;)

    The taunt from the Sword and Shield skill line (Puncture, you will likely want to morph to Pierce Armor) applies an armor debuff to the enemy and the one from the Undaunted skill line (Inner Fire, not sure which morph is preferred here) can taunt from range, so they're both useful. Ice staff is just garbage and you were right to question it.

    When you are approaching a mob in a dungeon, you should be the first one in to battle and apply some sort of AOE to the mob. This is not a direct taunt but it will at least get the initial aggro on to you. If you are a DK tank I like to use a gap closer and then try to grab people with my talons one time to grab aggro and then use my chains to group them in. The chain spell for DKs will also grab aggro. Not sure what class you are though. But yes the two direct taunts you will want to use are the Sword and Shield skill and the undaunted one.

    @Danksta @Apache_Kid just those 2 then. Well!
    Playing Dk, got 2. Setting one up to be tanky mctankface and the other to be less tanky, more damage. They’re still low level so not got the chains yet. What aoe is best? Also didn’t realise the undaunted was ranged. Is it single target?
