Shuffle and immunity broken or working as intended something needs to change

I'm tired of fighting people who gain immunity after dodge rolling or use some sort of build where they cast shuffle and every attack you do to them misses I mean they can literally just be standing still in place with shuffle on them and my ataacks will say dodge dodge it makes no since that someone can just stand still and my attacks won't connect @ZOS_Wrobel can there be something done about this

    you might want to record what's going on and post it, or at the very least describe it in detail... otherwise you're just complaining and getting nowhere

    Shuffle is very strong. I was just dueling my bro yesterday and he uses shuffle and occasionally it appears that the dodge chance is more like 50%. But thats the thing with RNG and a running theme in this game. No matter what it seems like you can never prove it. Each attack is a new chance to dodge and thus it could dodge perfectly 100 times in a row and still adhere to the stated percentage, at least as I understand it.

    RNG dodge is stupid and shouldn't be in a game with active dodge rolls.

    Personally I think it's broken or immovable pots are broken idk.. the other day I was just out in PvP running around killing kids with my NB and I ran into a few people... they soon started sending me messages saying I cloak to much and cloak saves me, I said OK what would should I do about that? They asked very nicely that I should 1v1 them with out running cloak..... I said sure no problem

    Ps sorry about the lag mountains and snow don't help my Internet speed that much but shuffle and immovable pots are very strong.. maybe even to strong

    Let's be clear. Does it say "missed" or "dodged?" The two are different and have different sources.

    I run into certain players that dodge everything, even when not rolling. The dodging is not what irritates me. It's that I spend stamina on dodged attacks. I have emptied an entire stam bar without landing a hit. The change I would make immediately is for dodged attacks to not cost stam.

    @Wreuntzylla Oh boy i have been in this boat before. I think that's the thing that is driving crazy in PVP and why i think there needs to be a change to general combat mechanics.
    For example i had a

    I had a Night blade yesterday roll dodge Every... Single... Time i was about to use javelin on him...
    like he know that i was casting it before it would even go off like i would weave Light attacks even skills.
    But if i was to use Javelin... That *** knew exactly when it was going to go off and dodge it. Was a pain in the ass to lock him down.

    I think they need to make changes to certain skills like
    Hard cast skills or channel Affects cannot be Dodge but can be blocked.
    instant attacks can be dodges but cant be blocked.
    Make changes to Block to assist with this change

    again this is just brain storming nothing major but i think this would help with the Dodges mechanics

    You can react to Javelin or any projectiles cuz there's animation/travel time. Plus some builds just roll a lot

    This is why undodgeable skills exist.

    There's also a set that increases the dodge time of roll dodge

    Shuffle can just RNG you

    Misses come from a different effect, usually Meridia

    If you wanna kill em, just slot Soul Assault

    Edit Templar undodgeables are Light, Radiant, and Jabs, Eclipse?

    @Waffennacht :grin: Of course i soul assaulted him in the end but i was trying to CC him :frowning:

    The problem i have with Eclipse is you just pretty much give people free CC immunity, Radiant is really only usable as an Execute anymore. Jabs is great when the target is in melee range and the Server actually wants to register Attacks lol.

    My Templar in pvp is sitting on 41k magicka 15k spell pen and about 3k spell power fully buffed so i dunno :(

    Oh I hear ya, Templars have a few lacking areas. I mentioned eclipse because I used SA in a BG, a Templar then used eclipse on me... 6k DMG per .5 sec... I was dead very quickly

    This is exactly what i'm talking about that happens to me i try to hit them and it keeps saying dodge dodge dodge even if they are standing still then before i know it i'm out or resources to attack them and die do to none of my attacks hitting them this is especially annoying when paired with the lag console has i can't connect with anything talking about frustrating
