Why I can't buy DLCs in the Steam Store ?

I'd like to get a clear picture on this one, yes I'm aware that you can buy crown coins or the (very expensive) gold edition (which only has 4 DLC minus the dungeons and CWC).

However I still belive I would get a much better deal if I could just outright buy them in the store and pay in a form that is more affordable considering I'm a international player and the prices are extremely high for me even with the current Sale:

750 crowns is 20 bucks

1 month subscription is 52 bucks

Morrowind is 114 bucks

Just to give an idea of the costs involved.

Holy ***, and I thought they were over priced here in the US. That’s ridiculous. The reason they lock them behind their own personal currency is to disguise just how over priced everything really is. Then they have sales to influence people to splurge, and the sale prices are still higher than what the content should be priced at. But I guess if people are paying, it’s none of my business.

DLCs can be bought only within the game for Crowns whether you you're Steam'er or buy things from ESO page directly.
Morrowind is not deemed by ZOS as a dlc but as a "chapter" (whatever that means to ZOS) hence is can be bought on Steam or from ESO page.

Why can't you buy DLCs separately via Steam or ESO page?
I don't know. Maybe because technically it's something you already get in the game when you install it. So, "buying" dlc means just that.. you unlock the area..not "download" extra content.
I am sure if I am mistaken someone here will correct me.

    - Redguard StamBlade dps ["bowtard" crafty girl who likes spinning with daggers too.]
    - Breton SorcMag dps [She's got an identity crisis, but I believe in her.]
    - Dunmer Templar dps/healer [she's a healer, then again she likes inferno staff too...]
    And..
    - High Elf SorcMag dps [It's quite possible his daddy was a Nord.]

I think you're correct on that one if you ain't being sarcastic, considering how they gate you off if you stop paying for ESO+, still, it just makes it harder for me to buy anything that, well, less money for them I guess.

Because when you buy a dlc or a cosmetic, you unlock it on one server, not account. But if you buy ESO+ you unlock all the dlcs on the two servers. Funny isn't it? :/
