Alliance Change Tokens?

I personally would love to see these come into the game. I know they most likely won't and most people will disagree with me but all my characters are reds as I used to know alot of people who also only had or mostly had reds and so we could PvP in Cyrodiil we stuck with red. Now some of these same friends don't play anymore and honestly I dislike alot of yellows and don't have the greatest relationship with some of them and I'm getting tired of Reds toxicity in Cyrodiil. I really would love to go blue but I don't really feel like making all new characters to level, Get the skill points and get the mages guild 10 on again...Please ZoS add these...

Not if you have "Every Race, Every Alliance" Probably wouldn't work if you didn't have that anyways

Make it expensive or hard to do. Turn it into a quest, where you go through the motions of betraying your faction.

I could agree with this. Wouldn't want it too expensive though....Only like maybe 2k-2500 crowns each. I would literally end up doing it to like 4-5 characters

Game already has no alliance pride since you can play all 3 alliances on 1 account. If anything they should lock your whole account into 1 faction and then maybe offer an expensive alliance change through the crown store with a 3 month+ cooldown

Would like to see alliance made account-wide now that all alliances can PvE together
select one alliance, applies to all characters
then have an (expensive) Alliance Change token at that point

Won't happen because of the whole races being divided by Alliance and the pre-existing any race any alliance fee tho

I mean there's still alliance loyalists. Me I just prefer not to play one of my certain builds or classes on a certain faction so I'd like an alliance change token. If there's no alliance pride anyways I don't see now this would hurt it any more or any less

Well it was a bit different before One Tamriel when you couldn't play on the same server in different alliances. Also, some people are not and will never be bond to one alliance. And there are many reasons for people to change alliance. So why not make it possible via crown store? I disagree with betryal quest idea, while I find it really interesting then I don't think people would care much for this story.

I would love to see this. They aren't gonna make your account tied to one alliance cause that limits you as a player and generally alot of people would be pissed off. I'm on NA ps4 and just tired if the toxicity of the Reds in zone chat and all the arguing when as a faction we can hardly do anything. Plus I'm getting more and more friends who are blue and it would he nice to play with them honestly.

Hey, its this thread again! Faction change tokens! Let's all rehash the old arguments!

Personally, I'd get a faction change for a couple characters because I made an DC and an AD character before One Tamriel to experience those questlines. However, I'm a staunch Ebonheart Pact player in PVP so those characters get almost zero PVP playtime. And before you ask, no, I'm way, way too attached to my Breton stamina sorcerer Silencer of the Dark Brotherhood and Master Thief to reroll her even if she is a member of that dirty, rotten no-good, very bad Daggerfall Covenant alliance.

Yes, alliance change tokens, please. I have two 2yo EP toons who want badly to defect from all the kekistan/bleepchan/daily stormer EP trash. I leveled up one of them in PVP until she could get caltrops and now can't stomach trying to do it on the second one, which means as a stamblade he'll have to go without caltrops and vigor and it sucks royally.

I made these toons before One Tam when I thought I would need toons in each faction to play with guildies and now it doesn't matter except for PVP,/ But doing PVP on EP side means dealing with both coded and not-coded antisemitism and racism in zone and group chats, which I don't see on the DC or AD sides. I've resigned to the fact ZOS is OK with this--I mean they do have the brother of President "The alt-right are very fine people" Donald on their board--but I should at least be given the chance to distance myself from it as much as possible, since these are the sort of people who want to send people like me to the gas chambers and all that.

They are never gonna do that. ZoS is already about being open and being able to do what you want in the game. They would never faction lock your account

I don't know what you're taking about. The issue is simple. Some players like to always be on the side that is winning, so they hop on alts and jump from faction to faction. Worse, there are players who jump on alts for the sole purpose spamming Tokyo Rose b.s. in zone chat in order to demoralize the faction. Faction locking would encourage faction loyalty and cooperation. I would support one-time, permanent, account-wide faction change tokens.

There are also players who change faction to losing side. While I get your idea that it would increase faction loyalty and stuff (and I'd love to see more united factions!), locking account to one faction sounds like a bad solution, because campaigns are unbalanced already- and it would make things worse in terms of campaign balance in my opinion.

Yes, if that happens (somehow) then your idea might work, but most people will always move toward more freedom of choice so I don't think it's gonna happen.

If they made it expensive enough people would not jump from faction to faction like that lmao

You have 100% XP boost now with the holiday festival, so save your breath and grind yourself a new char instead, will most likely be a lot faster than getting an alliance change token (will likely never happen anyways).

That's why people will use such tokens- because for some reasons like they don't want to make a new character, want to play their main for different side or #puthereanyreasonnottorollnewalt ^^ people have their reasons for this
