Proof of Bots in PS4

Soul Shriven
So I stumbled across this when leveling a new character. When I reached the island of Betnihk I was doing a quest where you meet up with the NPC "Jakarn". I noticed that so many "players" in the area were mass killing wolves all around me. It seems that there is a huge farming dilemma in that spot. All the characters farming were sitting in one spot playing as sorcerers with minions out, killing these wolves with storm staves. All these players also are mostly level 3, and have names like "hdbkiydgjyf" for example. I wanted to post this to let Zenimax that this looks to be a problem with very unfair advantage to players that are trying to play fair. Here is a YouTube link to a video capture from PS4 I created: https://youtu.be/4KcLirsH3dg
Edit: I checked again today, a few weeks after I made the video. This is still an ongoing issue.

    god i hate botting.

if only R2 didnt automatically heavy attack after the first when holding it down like bows and destro staffs did before where you had to release then hold it again for another heavy attack
Go beyond the impossible and kick reason to the curb!

I've reported them a few times in game already. Not all of them but a good chunk of them. They've got it down to just attacking once the wolves appear, not just spamming heavy attacks.

I've reported them in game as well.
I just wish they would reward no exp, not pelts not even foul hide just the worthless meat during event. They can split the difference and add 100 xp and 5 gold to each of those new life quests or something. Basically rewarding the participants and not the bots at the end of the day.

Report them for sure. I’d like to also mention, do not buy gold and materials from these clowns.

Starve them out. Make them disappear.

Unfortunately, as long as there are people who will pay for gold/resources with real money then they will never be gone. Developers need to be more proactive in removing these accounts. :(

Can you report them to Sony? They are violating Sony's terms as well.

They won't continue going for too long if their consoles get bricked.

It may or may not be “botting”.....
Remember, that “Area” is also one of the New Life Quest “Areas” for XP.....
Please be aware of what’s going on & your surroundings before you start pointing fingers....
When the initial event kicked off, there was 300+ Players in that one spot trying to get meat just to fulfill the quest....

I've seen upwards of 30+ in the Rawl'kha bank before. Have screenshots and reported. Early morning's EST.

There's been times there was so many in there I just left and hit a different bank.

I got a video of some of them last week. They went from the wayshrine to the bank and moved at the exact same time, followed the same zig-zag path and everything. There was definitely only one person controlling the dozen or so of them.

And then I reported all of them, of course.

How is it even possible to get a bot on a ps4?
And I would think Sony would be better and more likely to be able to do something.

It's funny, with many folks stating they have or are still reporting on Bots on PS4, yet, every time I log in, I keep running into those bots for the last 2 years. They are everywhere and are a permanent fixture of the game; much like reoccurring bugs, lags and crashes. It's a never-ending battle. It's like you report one and 2 more groups pop up and so on. Ha ha

They're not bots, they're players. With a different agenda to the rest of us.

How exactly are they violating Sony's terms?

If they aren't bots, they aren't. If they are, they are. I hadn't watched the video. If he thinks they are bots, he should report them to Sony as they would be more likely to actually take care of the issue if it's found they are.
