Wrath of sithis help!!

KimberlyannKitsuragi
So I managed to get to the end of the wrath of sithis once. However I can't seem to take down the final boss. I'm confused and angry. I'm a Nightblade at level 28.

Is the wrath of sithis portion of the DB something that's only solo? I'm so stuck and I've asked guildemates to help but they say that can't see me which makes me think it's instanced. Any suggestions? I feel like I want to give up

I am having the same issue and I'm level 31. I've died a out 10 times. If you still need help I wouldn't mind doing the quest with you but I do not know how to set that up

I know this is an older thread, but having the same problem. I'm lvl 36 NB. I've tried different strategies. Probably died over 20 times thus far. Can this be done with a friend or does it have to be solo? Maybe I don't have the right skills or weapons?

Hum...as a guild quest it is not a solo instanced dungeon so theoretically you should be able to group up and bring help. It's possible that group members won't be on the same layer if they've completed this quest...if that's the case, you have to find someone to quest with who also needs to complete it.

But assuming you guys solo it...she's a tough boss for low levels, mostly, because you might not have spavikities unlocked that will really help. Rally on the 2h helps...buffing for 20% more damage w heals. Mirage for NBs for dodge, or shuffle, for anyone else. I use hidden blade from dual wield against her a lot...hit and run, hit and run.

Overall she isn't too hard, but she's designed for a player who has access to their whole class/weapon skills lines. There are so many skills that open at level 38/42...that might be what's keeping you from ganking her. With my NB, I'd suprisemattack, ambush, killer blade, piercing mark and shrouded dagger the attack bar, then on the retreat rally, vigor, siphon attack,,darkmcloak, the 2h execute. I'd smack her a bit, then back off w dark cloak a bit, then smack. But she's hard, even with champion points.

I didn't see signs of a single other person while running through the quest (twice) this evening, so I'm inclined to think it's a solo instance.

I just beat it myself on my NB. CP 153, and it was still a bit tricky (though more the shade section than the final fight, because I kept aggroing multiple shades at a time when they're really best handled 1-on-1).

You really just need to have some mid-fight heals available. She hits hard, so you need to be able to absorb that damage and hit back just as hard. I seem to recall most of my fight involved me running backwards, frantically spamming flurry, so... do that I guess? Get food and potions, and don't bother trying to CC her, because she seems to shrug everything right off. Pull out your nastiest tricks, and make sure you have a good Ultimate ready to pop (I had the Dual Wield Ultimate... massive DoT plus healing over time... very helpful in this fight).

Just keep working at it... you'll get it eventually. (And Akatosh help you if you need to run back to town for any reason... I learned the hard way that it resets the entire dungeon).
    Living vicariously through my characters.

    My Girls:
"If you were trapped in your house for, say, a year, how would you pass the time?"

Nephikah the Houseless, dunmer assassin: "I suppose I could use the break. I have a lot of business holdings now that need management."
Swum-Many-Waters, elderly argonian healer: "I think that I would enjoy writing a memoir."
Silh'ki, khajiit warrior-chef: "Would this one be able to go outside, to the nearby river? It's hard to fish without water!"
Peregrine Huntress, bosmer hunter: "Who is forcing me to stay inside, and where can I find them?"
Lorenyawe, altmer mechanist: "And why would I want to go outside in the first place? Too much to be done in the workshop."
Lorelai Magpie, breton master thief: "I'd go nuts. Lucky for me, I have a little experience sneaking out!"
Rasheda the Burning Heart, redguard knight: "I would continue my training to keep my skills sharp."
Hex-Eye Azabi, khajiit daedric priestess: "I suppose it would be lucky, then, that I built a shrine to Mephala in my backyard."
Yngva Stormhammer, nord bandit (reformed...ish): "I hate being inside even when I'm not forced to be. GET. ME. OUT."
Madam Argentia, vampire dunmer aristocrat: "I suppose it would be more of the same. I have a rather... contentious relationship with the sun."
Mazie gra-Bolga, orc scout: "Uh... I'd have to house train my bear..."
Felicia the Wanderer, imperial witch-for-hire: "What Lorelai said."
Calico Jaka-dra, retired khajiit pirate: "This one would like a rest from her grand adventures. Her jewel shop runs out of stock!"
Shimmerbeam, blind altmer psijic: "Provided that I am confined to Artaeum, I do not think I will want for things to occupy my time."
Shauna Blackfire, redguard necromancer: "Sounds like paradise. I hate people."
Kirniel the Undying, cursed bosmer warrior: "I would feel useless, not being able to fight."
Echoes-from-Dragons, argonian who thinks she's a dragon: "All the better to count my hoard!"

(Signature idea shamelessly stolen from Abeille.)

I'm really hoping this is the case.

I'm currently working on this now, and I'm having quite a tough time of it solo. It was bad enough getting through her five shades beforehand. Doing this with a group, likely even just one other player, would make all the difference in the world.

I didn't see signs of a single other person while running through the quest (twice) this evening, so I'm inclined to think it's a solo instance.

Or, you happened to be running the quest when no one else was doing so.

Were you on at particular odd hours when running it?

Hmmm. This might be my problem, then. I'm not at cap. I'm Lv 31, and I'm not well-geared at all. Nor do I have all of my skills available to me yet. Perhaps I should just save this quest for when I have those things in place and take another shot then.

The three-shade/shadow copy attack has been grueling for me. When she fires it, it seems to lock me down completely. Dodge-roll will eventually break it, but not before she's dished out some serious pain.

Yeah. This. I didn't see this thread before exiting the dungeon to head back to town for repairs and such. I, too, learned the hard way that doing so resets the instance. All the more reason that I'll just hang onto this until I'm at full power/strength.
