I'm not 100% sure, and don't quote me on this, but the other people I met that received the email were all long-time veteran players. That's just a guess, though.

It's a nice touch... limited edition, signed, numbered...
But 200 given out at random? It's no wonder people are thinking "Why them, why not me?". Particularly people who have been here since beta, subscribed from the start and been active on the forums since forever and get nothing.
I mean, getting something without doing anything to deserve it is what winds people up constantly on these forums... "So you paid to train up your horse?"... "It took me a year to learn all 9 traits, and you want to buy that in the Crown Store?"... "I had to run dungeons for six months to get the piece I needed, and you want to buy it from a vendor?"... "You want to buy Vigor without doing any PvP?"... "You want to buy Undaunted mettle so you don't need to leave Cyrodiil?".
Though obviously I wouldn't want that Vivec coin...

I just looked at my 4th anniversary badge & it is saying there are only 771 of us so far that have the badge. I'm guessing that means only 771 of us have stuck with the game since the start? Fyi I did not get the email either, but gratz to all that did receive it.Happy Patch day!1 -

mwo1480✭✭✭✭Remember those few posts from about 3 weeks ago, about the email that a few people got from ZoS asking for address info for a gift? Well, mine came in today! As promised, here are some pics!
Everything came neatly packed in a cardboard tube, with the signature dragon/lion/eagle ouroboros.
Popped it open, and inside I found a pin, a coin, a poster, and a sealed letter!
The tail side of the coin is Vivec's hand symbol, and reads "ALL CITIES ARE BORN OF SOLID LIGHT"
The head side is a bust of Vivec himself, and reads "I AM GOLDEN WISDOM AND POWERS ALIKE"
Also got a neat pin of an unfolded Elder Scroll, very cool!
Then, we got a Morrowind poster! Sorry for the folded edges and low quality, it's pretty big. I had to use my 3DS to hold down the other edge while I took the picture!
Last but not least, there's a letter signed by what seems to be the entire dev team, reading.."Happy New Life Holidays from Zenimax Online Studios!

Thank you very much, ZOS. It truly feels like Christmas lasted an extra day for me this year. These things will take pride of place in my games room.
I'm also impressed with the delivery. Not just because this package came all the way from Rockville to this little village in England in the space of a few days at Christmas time, but also because we had a foot of snow overnight and the road where I live is not cleared.
I didn't take the delivery myself, but I'm told the delivery man was wearing shorts.
It's the personal touch that makes this feel really special
