Actually yes, I have played Legends, but not a whole lot of it. I never thought about that being the criteria, but seeing as how there were probably only 200 winners, I imagine there was more to it than just that.
No doubt there was more to it, but maybe the combination of 'Played ES Legends', 'Has Morrowind DLC' is where they started the list from, and then drew names from a hat, as it were.

✭✭✭I don't know what the criteria was - I only know it wasn't Legends or having been around since beta and a long-term player. My husband got the email and he doesn't own Legends, nor did he play in the beta. He started playing about a year after me, after watching me enjoying the game. Maybe it's just a random pick.
Either way, I can't wait to see what he receives.

✭✭✭Remember those few posts from about 3 weeks ago, about the email that a few people got from ZoS asking for address info for a gift? Well, mine came in today! As promised, here are some pics!
Everything came neatly packed in a cardboard tube, with the signature dragon/lion/eagle ouroboros.
Popped it open, and inside I found a pin, a coin, a poster, and a sealed letter!
The tail side of the coin is Vivec's hand symbol, and reads "ALL CITIES ARE BORN OF SOLID LIGHT"
The head side is a bust of Vivec himself, and reads "I AM GOLDEN WISDOM AND POWERS ALIKE"
Also got a neat pin of an unfolded Elder Scroll, very cool!
Then, we got a Morrowind poster! Sorry for the folded edges and low quality, it's pretty big. I had to use my 3DS to hold down the other edge while I took the picture!
Last but not least, there's a letter signed by what seems to be the entire dev team, reading.."Happy New Life Holidays from Zenimax Online Studios!

NO, actually it wouldn't be hard at all...a game I used to play made a founders fountain in game and you could go up to it and click on a plaque and it would list all the founding guilds and its members...so it immortalized them in what they love, the game. This kind of stuff only leads to what it has led to, which is why I asked those questions right off the bat(cause I dont care about some trinkets that wont go to the grave with me) and could have been a REAL (tho virtual) token of appreciation to ALL the players and not some random 200...
