Yet another pointless CP buff festival?

The OP does not understand that the population of ESO is made of casual people. The in gane names suggest a very low interests in the real Elder Scrolls, as such, just need to waste time not to die of boredom (reading a book is not a real option). The simple fact that on TV we have/had programs such as Jerseys Shore rather than National Geographic should tell you enough about the level of the audience.

You should not get surprised people prefer to camp wasps, jumping like rabbits, throwing mudballs, rather than doing something else, like a trial.
"Yesterday while searching a barrel in vVoM I found a lemon. Best drop of the whole run."

Protect the weak. Heal the sick.
Treasure the gifts of friendship. Seek joy and inspiration in the mysteries of love.
Honor the Earth, its creatures, and the spirits. Use Nature's gifts wisely. Respect her power. Fear her fury.

Btw National Geographic is not what it used to be also, at least half of time :\

No interesting content since launch apart from Craglorn, vMoL and Battlegrounds.
Every dang week we get some weird festival that turns my friends that like to farm into zombies.
    Please stop this nonsense Zeni.

Be honest... was this happening while you were typing away.

Maybe for older players it's repetitive/mundane but for newer players such as myself it's a welcomed distraction.

I personally enjoyed roaming around Tamriel going to places i would never consider going to early into my game and even though i was somewhat hesitant to travel to unknown "enemy" lands i found the experience memorable and FUN! The Mud Ball Merriment in particular was a laugh, reminiscence to childhood shenanigans and hey i finally get to throw back "poo" to other players that have been doing it to me for days now :D

The visit to Shadowfen was more perilous though, trying to get to the New Life Fishing Holes was quite the experience, which mostly involved trying not to get killed by Crocodiles/Mini-Godzilla and angry flying balls.... and seriously the road network is like non-existent.

Overall i had loads of fun and i'm glad i partook of the festivities, plus the rewards are a nice touch ;)
