Damage Health Poison IX - Why are these stronger on some characters?

I tried searching for this answer as well as asking around in game but didn't have any luck. I'm curious why these poisons are showing up stronger on my stamina character and weaker on my magicka character who crafted them. What is causing these to be stronger when my stamina character equips them, is it from CP possibly or what am I missing?

Not entirely sure, but poisons probably benefit from % damage increases. Your stamblade probably has more champion points in Mighty and Thaumaturge. Minor berserk (from relentless focus) may also be affecting the poison, as well as Minor and Major Slayer from trials gear sets (PVE only, might not be reflected in tooltip value).

Other factors will also increase poison damage, but will definitely not affect the tooltip damage values, including the Morag Tong set, Vulnerability and off-balance debuffs, enemy armor reductions, etc.

Since these poisons deal Poison Damage, they're going to be buffed by Mighty, Precise Strikes, Piercing, and Thaumaturge, as well as Weapon Critical & Physical Penetration. That means your Stamina characters, if properly specced in the CP system, will have higher tooltips and overall DPS with them than a Magicka counterpart.

Thanks for the input that definitely makes more sense now. I wasn't aware that alchemical poisons could be boosted by CP and other values so I appreciate the insight.
