So it seems that when playing in 4k, things get pulled in length (sorry im not native not sure how to fraise it) - things get longer vertically than they get broader horizontally it seems...but the aspect ratio should be the same no?
Usually this should happen if you switch from 16x9 to 16x10 or something similar, if this isn't the case check if the picture scaling or screen alignment is manually changed in your GPU or monitor settings. 4k it self does not change the ratio.
its weird, the scaling mechanism is aspect ratio, its native 4k, its 16:9... is it possible that some tv's have inherent some stretching? It didnt look like this on the tv before
I noticed when i first ran ESO in 4k it wasn't actually 4k. It was just a super sampled 4k and it looked terrible. I had to restart ESO and my computer several times, reconnect my monitor several times and reinstall it's driver's several times. Might be something like that too. Try opening in windowed full screen mode and see what that looks like at 4k res? Unless your on console in which case I have no idea about the Xbox one x or PS4 pro

I play on 4k on a 21:9 monitor...and I set the value of FoV to 110 so it works like a char...aka u don't get that deformed stuff on the edge of screen etc...

I play on an ultrawide monitor.
21:9 is giving me a 'reverse letterbox' - where the picture width is correct, but the top/bottom are cut off.

The problem with society these days is that no one drinks from the skulls of their enemies anymore.
