pvp is unplayable.. been on dc and ep today and everyones complaining in zone.. i felt like it was a bit better with CwC but that was prob just due to people doing new content.. This is literally disgusting. at this point, in my honest opinion, i dont think you guys will ever fix the lag in cyrodil..
and im not talking oh its laggy at big fights, or a little laggy around some decent keep fights.. No, i mean 3-5 second cast times on skills and what looks like 5 fps. The only way to not get this is to go far away from any action and hope to find a random person to fight.. Also, im a solo player. I fight away from zergs, usually between keeps the zergs are fighting at.. And if i cant do that then what is the point of pvp?

Getting plenty of 1-5 fps dips in western Eastmarch, in the boonies.
Ping can be a low 125.
Fighting a mammoth or a few NPCs.
Other times it's 60 fps running around in town.
This isn't restricted to the event, it happens all the time, and frequently enough at 2AM to 4AM eastern time in North America on week nights to be 'normal'.

It must be obvious to those in charge ..higher volumes of users doing the same content (aka events or anything promoted or popular) creates lag lag lag long load screens and lots of it.Everything will be alright in the end, if its not alright its not the end.0 -

Maybe, just maybe its not 100% ZoS fault that you got lag. I for example use a power-adapter now to rout my internet to another room, and it impacts my internetspeed (its down with 50%, ordered a different type to get it up again), so check your own stuff first.Huyen Shadowpaw, dedicated nightblade tank - PS4 (Retired)

✭✭@Blobsky that seems to be the consensus. I just dont understand. Ive played for 2 years and ive seen it perform badly but lately (maybe since morrowind?) its only been getting so much worse... I just want the game to work. We can discuss mechanics later, if i can effectively play without a 3 second cast time on skills, or teleporting players, or having abilities not work, then im happy.
@Hyuen trust me i never assume its the game until i check with mannnyy people in zone chat, guilds, and people around me.. Its been happening to everyone. Everyday i see people complaining about it in cyrodil... However ill say this, NOTHING is as bad as it is in vivec on XBNA right now.. simply unplayable..

This is why they need to offer an account transfer to pc (IMO) because this is what I want. The game clearly functions better on pc. (Of it’s still has problems, but better)QQ.0 -

I agree 100%. I would have gotten it on PC and been happy. I have no real issues with this game besides the awful lag on console. Unplayable. Otherwise i have little things here and there but overall i love it so much. It sucks..
And on top of it they refuse to let us transfer to pc. Like i own it on pc as well, there is zero harm in doing it. Why wont they? cos its too much trouble and they know when we actually care enough to want to transfer that we will play it anway.. Why fix it or let us transfer if we will play it anyway? well more and more older console players leave every day.. I hate to think of the day i get fed up and quit.. But i certainly wont take 2 years of playing and give it up when i have; 11 toons, 9 trait crafter with 90% of motifs learned and over 1500 food/drink/furnishing recipes known, all my gold and gear and gold gear, all my crafting matts, former emporor, flawless conq, hundreds of vma/trial weapons/gear and 3 notable homes with tons of furnishings... Only to start new on pc and lose it all.. Thats to much to start over again..
No, if anything i transfer and take it with me or i leave and start new somewhere else that actually lets me play without teasing me.. Oh here play they game you love, how you know how to play it, but yet nothing will work right for you so you can just get destroyed.. Its like i said to my freinds, we might as well play a single bar build.. No bar swap involved except we still have to try and cast skills

PC player here.
ESO on all platforms is one big spaghetti code.
It isn't optimized in any form.
I often run trials and dip below 5fps.
Same is true for crowded areas such as cities.
I'm running a i7 6700k + GTX 1080
FPS is always somewhere between 5 and 160fps
