Have you ever left a guild you didn't want to leave because of 5 guild limit?

Have you ever left a guild in which you would have stayed but because of guild limit you decided to drop?

Have you had to choose between guilds and left one only because you didn't have free spaces?

Social? End-content? PvP? Trader maybe?

Honestly im weighing my options atm. I really want to join an RP guild, but i like everyone in all my guilds....so its a matter of finding who i like the least....which is not easy...

No, because unlike most games I have 5 account wide slots instead of 1 slot per character

I've dropped guilds twice, and turned down invitations to fun guilds several times. Which sucks! I've had good luck with pugs, but you never know what you'll get. It's hard to find consistent people to run trials or PvP with who are 1) in my play times, 2) casual-friendly and willing to teach without requiring schedules/set teams, 3) willing to work with non-standard setups, and 4) who avoid trash talk. And then when I finally find them, I don't have room to join.

Not to mention having to choose between friends when guilds hive or split off, that's extra sucky. ~_~

Yes, sadly... more than one. In my case, the guilds were mostly dead, but they were the guilds that I joined first and I'd have stayed in them if I had the chance.

Right now I'm full up with trading guilds or zombie extra-bank-space.

Yes. I am in a main RP guild, secondary RP guild, social hub guild, and 2 trade guilds and I wish I could join more. Since ESO doesn't have custom chat channels like some games it could really do with more guild slots.

No because I'm dedicated to my own guild, but majority of ex-members did for that exact reason
When one have to chose, the rp guilds or fun guilds are often dropped...
The 5 cap would be fine if there weren't the trade system we have.

In fact the whole guild system in this game is flawed regarding RP matters. Guilds are structures on the player-side, out-of-characters. It was even worse at launch when there weren't even a tabard

I suggested then to add a "side-guild" system that would be character-side, that i'd call "Units"
=> they would be "crystallized groups" like Rosters or RP parties
=> One per character alt - We can join as much units as we have alts - No trading option - No bank - A dedicated channel (/u ?) - A tabard system too - Same way to display its < name > like actual guilds - Option to set a member's house as the Unit Headquarters in homestead

yes. twice so far. once - decent trading guild for a better one. liked people in both, but the one I left for has better trader and more scheduled non trading events. liked people in both though.

second time I left a casual friendly guild that I really liked but it was kinda quiet for a more active casual guild.

it was a choice I contemplated for a fair amount of time in both cases. and I still wish I didn't need to make it.

Yes more often than I'd like with only 30 slots it means most need more trading guilds. You might have a pvp guild, a dedicated trials guild, a pve dungeon guild, a guild with friends from start,
But I also need to sell lots so I drop guilds constantly. More slots or even a higher number of items for sale would help,
although that may cause turmoil to the traders guilds, as they via for stay with us don't leave type stuff.

Posting in stealth "give us more guilds" thread.

I can't say I have, five guilds is more than enough to do everything you need. I normally choose one single guild to focus with though rather than multiple.

That would be a great idea for raiding builds as well.

The more you play though.... you find yourself needing more. It's like mage, fighther, thieves, darkbrotherhood... it's just another organization to join...kinda like monthly book club.

    Right now

    1 guide of my own
3 trade guides in the top locations in the game
    1 Trial guide

    Account 2

2 Trials guide (probably soon to be 3)
1 account 1's guild (easy to move items to 1)
Considering moving 1 trade guild here.

Would I would like is a pvp guild but don't have room as would need to be on main account. My advice though if you really really love the game just get an second account and put all your trade guilds on there. I can't though... one guide owns the stations O.O, and other all the mundus stones. While both are in number 1 spots game to sell items. I like lively my luxurious eso life.
