Oh look. Another one of those threads...

    :D

yeah I don't understand the appeal of "fake" racism when like 90% of the time it's not done appropriately

Guys, look which subforum this is in. Like it or not, this IS where it belongs. If you have an In Character reaction, that would belong here too. :)

The Dunmer are invaders in Argonian land. It is the the Dunmer who do not belong sat upon the Nix Oxes and in time will kill them off by their abusive natures. Don't worry though after Mehrunes invades the Argonians will finally have the resolve to take back their land. Hopefully the Dunmer will then learn humility but it is doubtful and will likely die out like every other vile and precocious elven race that came and went before them (Left Handed Elves, Dwemer, Ayleids). The Dunmer are destined for failure and because of their pride keep poking the bear. Good luck with that.

Do we consider the Bretons invaders on squirrel land? Argonians are nothing more than lizards. They show signs of intelligence, but so do the pigs.

How exactly would the Nix-Oxen "kill" us off? We have the ability to train creatures by rewiring them. Besides, they cease to exist by the late Third Era.

You, a savage lizard, call us vile. Ha! Are you not the ones who will slaughter Dunmer civilians, even women and children, to the last in the Red Year?

What bear have we poked? We simply take what is ours. I wouldn't allot land to a guar. Why should I allot land to a lizard?

Argonians shouldn't be riding anything period. How could they when chained to a post?

^This is why when the Baar Dau came hurtling into Vivec and the Red Mountain erupted, Argonians rolled in and wrecked ***... instead of offering humanitarian aid lol

For now... Neloth states (in Dragonborn) that House Telvanni still has holdings in Vvardenfell, and I doubt Port Telvannis was touched. I couldn't care less if the other houses crumble. They are all N'wah-loving S'wits anyways.

House Telvanni fell. Sure, they still have holdings. But that could man anything. As far as I know, their holdings in Vvardenfell are probably just deserted ashlands, for the most part. As for Port Telvannis, why wouldn't the Argonians have attacked it? House Redoran may have pushed back the Argonians from going into northern Morrowind, but Port Telvannis was on its own island. And it's been mentioned that House Telvanni was crippled. While it's possible that Port Telvannis may be in the process of being rebuilt, if the Argonians were able to sack Mournhold, Port Telvannis would have been a cakewalk. Especially since it's a PORT...as in on the water...and the Argonians have the advantage when it comes to the water-you see where I'm going with this?

Oh, and to answer your other comment, you call us lizards savage?! Allow me to erect the spine of truth. Your kind were the ones who invaded our land first and harvested our people like cattle. So we slaughtered your people like cattle in retaliation. Because it's what the Dunmer deserved. The Dunmer did not poke a bear. They spent centuries poking a sleeping giant. And that giant crippled them as punishment.

Also, the Nix-Ox ceases to exist in the Third Era on VVARDENFELL. It does not mention it being extinct in other parts of Morrowind. Considering the fact that House Dres were known for taming a variety of large insects, I assume the Nix-Ox would be among them. For a Dunmer, one would think you would be more knowledgeable about the fauna of your own region. Then again, you DID say you couldn't care less if the other houses crumble, so one would assume that House Telvanni being isolated from the other houses makes them less knowledgeable to the outside world.

Although, since the city of Tear and the surrounding region is part of Black Marsh now, I guess you could say their insects were taken by the Argonians after Tear was sacked and taken. So you dryskins should be glad that ESO takes place in the second era. If a few Argonians riding Nix-Oxen bothers you now, you won't like what happens in the next thousand years or so. >:)
