I remembered Morrowind chapter got promoted long before it actually came out...and if next chapter is planned in 2018 2nd quarter, then probably ZOS should start advertising now...or at least, the info of first dlc in 2018

✭✭✭✭✭Morrowind was officially announced January 31st, 2017, mostly because Bethesda had already committed advertising dollars to promote it.
If the next chapter doesn't have as significant of a marketing campaign, they may just focus on Q1 promotion for now. Maybe even go so far as to push the chapter preorder back toward March/April.signing off0 -

✭✭I wouldn't be surprised if they're still deciding on this one.
I don't think Morrowind was anywhere near as successful as they would have liked and the decision to relabel that DLC as a chapter, price it outrageously and exclude it from ESO Plus was controversial. They'll be weighing up the impact of that on subscriptions, Morrowind sales etc. and possibly considering a different model for this year.4 -

Probably because Sooo many people where upset over some of the radical changed to the game.
I know resource regen was one of them but it really needed to happen. I cant really think of to many other ones. I know some people where upset with battlegrounds being Gated content too. But more or less this was an expansion pack, And i loved it kinda wish we got the northern island or Solstheim but hey is what it is.0 -

✭I wouldn’t be shocked if they don’t release any new information on ththe next chapter until around the time they did las year.
I am sure all they will say is confirm style change for Q1 and maybe explain the location of Q3 dungeons l. I am sure they will roll out the marketing campaign this year like they did last year.0
