Skill Morph Reset - Losing Skill Exp/Level

I had been running Bound Aegis (Maxed) on my sorc for years.
I reset my skill morphs today. Go to morph to Bound Aegis again, however, for some reason, this skill is now stuck at Bound Armour III.

What is going on?
Where has all that skill exp gone?
Is this a known bug?
Has anyone else experienced similar occurances?

    They re-arranged the skills a while back so that the skill unlocks were of similar power across all the classes. This was done more than a year ago, maybe even longer.

    So, some things that you re-morph will need to be touched up to get them back to max.
    Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

    You only need to get the skill back to the morph point. The morph already has enough XP to be maxed.

    Essentially the skill requires more XP that it did before due to it being moved to a later position. So that XP needs to be earned since it wasn't earned previously.
