So I read that Animal Crossing Pocket Camp is having server issues. Theyve apologized for the inconvenience and said they will be giving affected users 20 leaf tickets.(equivalent to crowns) While I've never been a believer in players being entitled to compensation good customer service is almost always good business. Animal crossing is a free to play phone game with no subscription yet they're compensating players with something that they would normally have to pay for. Where as with ZOS they rarely acknowledge problems much less apologize and have never to my knowledge compensated players subscribers or not. on the plus side my wife plays about 3hours a day less eso now and is thinking about quitting. Because cute animals make her happy and zos load screens, inconsistent hirelings and unresponsive customer service infuriate her. Might be saving myself $50 a month soon so keep up the good work. I dont need a subscription for pvp and have a lifetime supply of mats and gold stored up thanks to her addiction to farming mats.

Bit animal crossing microtransactions are worse than zos so it balances out

You have a point but they didn't make those necessary for progress. In fact they haven't been making much on the game even though they have a lot of players.

Leaf tickets can be earned in-game by leveling. So not really equivalent.

That too. So I guess that makes them better than crowns. But it is what you're buying when you use real life money in game and like eso it's not really pay to win. It's more like pay to not wait two days for something to happen. I think they didn't figure on people being fine with waiting two days for the game to build something. I just hope they don't make a subscription for more storage or a crafting bag. The wife is addicted to looting stuff. If she had more space she'd be collecting crap all day.
