ESO NA/Ps4 PRO General Internet speeds and stability discussion

Hi all, after the past couple patches of really bad loading screens and other texture load issues and lag. I’ve been trying to do all I can on my end to help alleviate/make up for problems with running ESO stability gameplay. Wether it be because their Servers need to be upgraded, or their client side is bad. Doesn’t matter I’ve decided moaning about their end isn’t helping here.

So...

Here are what my current settings are
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
*160-180 Mgbs Download speed (depending on day)
*20-24mgbs Upload speed
*15mms ping
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have run multiple tests on Ookla, my Ps4, and even had a paid internet service technician come to run these tests and so far I have had these results almost 100% of the time. My connections are stable.

My question is what can I do to further enhance smooth gameplay for myself? I have deleted save data, I have also re-downloaded the game itself in a TRUE effort to help myslef out here to keep a stable gameplay?

I have only 1 other option available to me on my end, which is to start switching out my gaming routers for my Ps4 Pro. I’m unsure of how much a difference this will make however so I’d like to hear Feedback from everyone else here and see some different tactics us Console peasants can do to alleviate our collective Gameplay problems!!

Some other additional things I tried but did not work are listed below. Perhaps trying these will help someone else though.

*Using googles DSN server setting
*power cycling my Ps4 Pro

@ZOS_MattFiror if you happen to cross by here I would appreciate what you would personally recommend

    Also if anyone has found a tactic to fix the login errors 303 and 307, where it will continually fail to log you in, please let me know.

    I have ONLY been getting this error since Clockwork cities DLC launch, now after the Rollback I experience it much less but still very much more than I would like. It is an incredibly frustrating bug. And thus far no developer has responded back to me, nor any community manager here. So I guess the people here are my only bet

    Holy hell... this just makes me more depressed... the only internet I have available is ADSL and my av upload on my PS4 Pro is 550 kbps and av download 7.0 Mbps

    Sorry that this doesn't actually answer your question...

    Damn I’m sorry, if your internet is that bad then you can try using the google DSN server connection settings when you set up your internet. It did not help me, but I don’t live close to a google site server, which is why it was helping some and wasn’t helping others.

    You can youtube it. It literally takes less than 3
    minutes to try it, and if you don’t like it you can just reset settings by setting up internet connection automatically again to reset it.

    With my speeds I actually have pretty good gameplay, but I think ZoS made some big mistakes because I have noticed significant reductions in gameplay performance. And as you can read in my post above I troubleshooted everything on my end and even spent some good cash to ensure it was verified.

    So I’m looking for other avenues to compensate for ZoS’s poor connections

    The average consumer doesn't have this. This is fiber speeds. So what you are experiencing is probably high quality service already.

    Nevertheless you can look into a few things. There's some latency add ons like battle ping wow latency fix ( works with eso. You can look into port forwarding. Though honestly assuming you are in states you really are having best service you can get.

    I know I made sure to upgrade my service speed after last months immensely frustrating experience lol xD I cannot use addons for my Ps4 as that is not something we can do yet

    This isn’t fiber speeds however, The next available one would be though. But that is expensive stuff. With these speeds I’m getting I don’t normally have a hard time with the game, except for of course Cyrodill as everyone does. That at the login screen error has been pushing me to the breaking point lol

    I am in the U.S. And I have gone through no small amount of trouble to verify all my equipment is working properly and even had my Ps4 Pro inspected lol. Which is why I can confidently state there is no reason for me to have connection issues on my end, minus the travel distance from where my information has to go before it hits ZoS’s servers

    I'm playing on European servers, but this happens on EU too. For some reason it works that way on PS4. You can certainly get used to it, but it doesn't change the fact that the game feels like the latency is sooo much worse than on PC. It probably has something to do with the very low framerate (locked at 30fps but droping lower every now and then).

    I play both on PC (much more) and PS4 (few times a month with friends). On PC the in game reported latency is 50 (ping to servers is much lower, but there is much more data to process in-game than return a small packet). On PS4 neither /latency nor /fps commands work, but it feels like it rarely drops below 200 (at least the symptoms are similar to playing on PC on a very bad connection with in-game reported latency of 200).

    As I said, you can get used to it. Neither the framerate nor latency bothers me much anymore, but it can certainly get annoying every now and then.

    To put it in contrast. Playing on PS4Pro/EU feels like playing cross region on PC/NA, except that on PC at least the framerate is good.

    They should have added an option for 1080p@60 with lowered graphics.Because now there is either 4k with low graphics or 1080p with improved graphics. Both locked at 30fps. The 4k setting (default) is much more stable in terms of FPS.

    For what it’s worth I’m on Google Fiber wired on the Xbox One X with consistently 450 Mbps -980 Mbps depending on use and i get the same errors even before Morrowind.

    I personally believe it’s an issue with how ZOS servers are set up but they will tell you it’s your iSP or router. This is my second ISP in 3 years so who knows at this point
