Only benefit I could see to this is it would make it possible to auction items. Post an item and a closing date, sell it to whoever offers the most before that date.
Problem is you then have to either use C.O.D. or try to arrange meeting up.

"Remember in this game we call life that no one said it's fair"
It would require 6 sections to be added or it would be a mess. Additionally, many who sell outside of the normal systems also try to take advantage of others. Zos is likely to want to keep clear of such activity.
It is not really about what we want. More is taken into account than just that. Not to mention, the forum poll is not designed to capture what the player base is interested in. It is why none of the polls hold weight with Zos's decision making.
How would this make the forums better? I believe it would make the forums worse. Someone would be trying to sell something and then we will have negative comments on how over priced on what is being sold. So while I don't know anything about selling, I am just curious how this would improve the forums.
For me improving the forums would be something like, seeing what is new a new post after reading a thread. Multi quote options. To me that would improve the forums, so I am not sure what you mean. Please explain.
Not my quote but I love this saying
"I would pay It for support. But since they choosed we are just numbers and not customers, i dont mind if game and zos goes to oblivion"
Even if there was a separate trading forum, people would still post trades on this board, just like they do about PvP and technical issues rather than posting on those forums. It would make the forums substantially worse, not better.
