Wait what? Are you saying the players who got double drops were not only denied said duplicate drops but also locked out of making some money out of them while helping those less fortunate with their RNG?
56 dungeons run (the absolute maximum for someone with no extra character slots).
55 crown tri-restoration potions
15 crown repair kits
11 crown mimic stones
4 crown experience scrolls
13 dye stamps
5 or so surveys
10ish treasure maps
15ish undaunted plunder
Not sure how many transmute crystals
1 mount (imperial horse)
1 pet (imperial mastiff)
3 costume rolls that landed on the same unwanted costume (Blacksmith)
And 0 semblance of feeling appreciated or celebratory.
The fact that the event was solely RNG with an absolute maximum number of rolls, that there's no guarantee of getting what you want and no other possible way to get it, and that people can (and do) feel like they "lost" during this event which is at least supposed to celebrate "Hey, we reached 10 million unique accounts," to say nothing of the bugs, overhyping, and spotty dev response, all made this event disheartening and disappointing.
To be frank, if ZOS's goal is to ensure they never reach 11 million, they've figured out exactly the sort of event to run. If it's not, they have some serious re-evaluation and soul-searching to do.
and the final tally. lots and lots of repair kits, tripots, treasure maps and surveys, and of course 1k plunders. outside of treasure hunter and blacksmith i got early one, no other costumes. no pet, no mount. did get couple more CwC recipes, nothing purple, but nice looking chair and table. oh and one Aetherial dust.
what I would like to know now. did ANYONE win the house jackpot? and if someone did, which houses were in it?
dirty worthless casual.
Reputation is what other people know about you. Honor is what you know about yourself. Guard your honor. Let your reputation fall where it will. And outlive the ***
My final tally out of 14 chars a day but only did one character the last day since I was to tired to stay up just to get the 7th ticket for sweep stakes.
Horse+Dog+4 Costumes+1 Purple plan
Rest were 1k treasures, lockpicks and transmute stones mostly out of 85 boxes.
I really do think the event should have ended at 10 pm rather than 10 am est cause most of the players ran dungeons every 24 hours anyway this 20 hour cd is something rather better for horse timers and such not dungeon rewards.
Disappointment, Undaunted keys and Crown Store trash
For statistics, from 15 boxes: 2 x Crown Tri-Pots, 4 x Crown Repair kit, Dyes, Imperial War Horse, 5 x Undaunted key, 3 x Undaunted Plunder, 3 x Mimic stone, 2 x Survey, Chef costume, Transmute crystals (didn't count them), 2 x Treasure map, 2 x Crown XP scroll
~50 dungeon 1 costume (treasure hunter) 1 pet (mastiff).
The event was not bad, Of course I would have been happier if I could exchange crown items (repair kit, potion, mimic stone, exp scroll, etc) to crown gem (gem extraction).
Oh yeah I forgot I got a few Clockwork Furnishing diagrams too, 2 blue ones (170k each) and about 4-6 green ones (10-15k each). So all in all, not bad.
Sick liaisons raised this monumental mark
The sun sets forever over Blackwater Park
Chef and treasure hunter costumes
Imperial war dog
Aetherial dust (sold it for 82k, nice)
Lots of treasure maps (I like doing those when I'm in exploring mood)
50+ trans crystals (again, happy with those)
The rest various dyes, keys, mimic stones, repair kits and crown pots.
I'd have loved to get the horse as well, but didn't happen. Glad I already have the dark shaman costume too! Not too bad overall.
RIP Atherton, my beautiful little gentle friend, my Shining Light. I will miss you forever. Without you I am a hollow shell.
well overall, did it on 9 chars (cheated a little, deleted one everyday, because I only have 2 maxed out char, only play one :d) except last day, overall a lot of dyes (meh, who needs that with eso+) some surveys( its fine) some furnishing plans (meh for me) blacksmith and chef (kinda collectible trash, cause never gonna wear it, would gladly gift them away if that would be possible but hey nope) dog (not the cutest, but I love everykind of dog so half happy, but happy) 1 horse which prob ruined my rng (never gonna use it again, I only use wolf mounts so meh, if there's ever a chance to gift away stuff, gladly gift it away especially for dark shaman :d)
overall, meh waste of an event at least no lockpicks for me
"The ass is similar to the opinion: Everyone has it, but no one cares about the others!"
I'm 120 years old
from 24 total boxes I got the dark shaman costume (wish they did runeboxes so I could give away), the imperial dog (also give away), and the imperial horse from my last box which I really wanted so yay
I did two dungeon runs, one with each of my CP level character; which are the first two dungeons I've ever done (and I really suck at them; many thanks to the people in both groups who were very nice and understanding about my suckage ).
I don't remember exactly, but I know I got an Undaunted item worth 1000 gold to sell; a dye stamp set, a couple of transmute crystals; and a couple of treasure maps (I like treasure maps, so that's good); prolly had something else, but I'm not really sure what all was regular dungeon loot as opposed to event loot.
I am unlikely to do dungeons again anytime soon (due to my suckage at dungeons), for the most part I prefer to play at a more sedate pace and approach my targets and soften them up with a bow before I get close and it seems that the pace of a dungeon does not suit this old fart all that well; fortunately this game offers many different options on how to play and get enjoyment.
Final count
Ran 9 characters, maximum runs possible for the time frame.
All collectibles (Blacksmith, Chef, Dark Shaman, Treasure Hunter costumes, imperial war mastif and imperial horse) on day 3 actually.
3 purple CWC plans, 2 blues, maybe 7-8 greens
10 repair kits,18 mimic stones, 50 pots and a bunch of dyes (7-8 I think)
And of course Undaunted keys and Plunders, Transmute Crystals even the odd lockpick.
The event was good for me, need to go sacrifice a critter to RNGesus
After getting enough treasure maps the first day to want to kill myself I gave up. however, I done one on my levelling character Monday and got the treasure hunter costume and again today within the last hour and got the imperial war horse.
Still no Dark Shaman costume but I wont complain lol
4 costumes. The only wanted was Dark Shaman - and I received it from the last box.
That's for my vampire dunmer. He loves it!
However, treasure hunter is not bad, but it looks good only with duals.
2 purple CWC plans, one or two blue and 4-5 green (two simular, but they do not stack);
3 alchemical surveys;
1 item that costs 10k.
Not so useful:
7 repair kits (rarely go in places where it is needed);
9 mimic stones;
transmutation stones and keys (didn't count);
some plunders (better than nothing, of course, but... ).
Useless for me:
90 potions;
6-8 treasure maps;
9 dyes, two of them simular (have ESO+. And they are boring!).
No lockpics.
And no horse.
I wanted horse!
I'm playing mostly for imperials, and I wanted that horse! :'(
Also no dog, but I don't like it, so doesn't matter.

Obviously I am pretty happy to have gotten the mount on both accounts. I figured that if I got one mount out of this thing I would be stoked. Overall I don't think the normal "rare" rewards "imperial war mount, war dog, shaman, hunter, chef and butcher) wern't to bad RNG wise. It is a bit of a shame though that the "common" rewards are such crap. Some more green clockwork motifs or transmute crystals would have been nice. Alternately, if we could have turned in things like the crown pots for gems those would have seemed like nice rewards. As is, the afore-mentioned collectable rewards seem OK in terms of both RNG and what they actually are but the stuff you get the rest of the time is such garbage. The regular rewards should have been things that you don't straight up delete.
I will also mention here that the RNG was unfortunate with it's lack of sophistication with respect to re-rolling the same reward. Most people never saw any of this but with the right loot tracking add on you could see that duplicate collectables could be rolled and that if this happened an instant re-roll was triggered but that this re-roll included the entire loot table not just the collectables on that tier of rareness. The effect of this was that the more collectables you got the less likely it became on any given roll to get something you wanted. This is why I didn't do so many dailies the last day. I still wanted just the treasure hunter costume at the end of the event but since most of my rare rolls would just revert to common rolls I didn't bother. The rng on the re-roll of a rare item should have included only items from the same rarity tier or, if that was complete just one tier down in the CWC recipe tier. Including crap in re-rolls for duplicate rare items quickly makes the RNG much much worse.
Lastly, I will mention the "real" rare items in this event. According to the advert, it should have been possible to get a 20mount 20 house pack as well as a great elk and other unspecified mounts and houses. I heard third-hand, and therefore of questionable reliability, that a bloke got the medium sized imperial house in craiglorn. That is all. How do I put this? If the rarity of drops is such that literally nobody playing the game in the course of an entire event gets them how do you even know they were functionally in the loot table? I'm just saying, I expected somebody on the forum to at least claim to get something outside of the normal loot distribution. It just seemed a bit off to me that nobody has claimed to hit the jackpot. Somebody ought to hit the jackpot. We are talking about virtual items that actually cost nothing to award here. Next time, think about dropping enough of them that you actually get a few winners showing up on the forum to brag about it. People are likely to put in a bit more effort if they actually think it is possible to win.
Anyhow, I enjoyed the event overall and feel rewarded. The imperial horse especially is very shiny.
I am currently worried for the future of ESO. Population seems like it is in free fall and the cancellation of the North America in-person gathering feels very much like pulling the plug. Kudos on fixing the in-game economy though. Clearly whatever gold shenanigans were happening the last couple years are fixed.
